It has become clear to me that the ability to live a truly happy life comes from the inside out, not from the outside in.Doreen Virtue and her son have shared a most wonderful gift in this book. They have clearly and articulately unlocked the power of the words we use, and how they shape the lives we live.It is an incredibly easy read, and each new chapter takes you closer and closer to the life, love and happiness you desire. All that's left when the book is complete is your decision to implement the simple, profound and absolute truth they share into your daily life.This book should be a "must read" for every single human being. Were it required reading in schools and in religious institutions each and every year, the joy and happiness created as a result would literally change the society we know and experience each day.

Would you make the effort and accept this challenge, if your life, the lives of everyone you encounter from day to day, and even the world, could change for the better? This easy and fun read from Doreen Virtue, just asks you to be mindful about your speech. There are lots of helpful suggestions and illustrations in the book. This book is not the way, it is one very good way, to help us choose to live our lives more mindfully and choose to be our best and highest self!!!

Love this and Doreen Virtue! It's so true and I could feel immediate shift in mood and energy. I go back to it whenever I feel like either I am getting negative or those around me are bringing me down. It's changing the way I phrase things. She shows us things we say that one normally would never even consider negative. Amazing!

I enjoy reading any all books about angels and how you can bring them into your life and the life of your love ones. This one has a differenct take in the since it shows how your words can bring them into you life.

Many of us have heard about the Law of Attraction and the power that words have to create. This small book shows us the vibrational evidence of this power. It's a great visual reminder to keep self-talk and our spoken words positive! I've given this away as a gift to several of my friends. When you see the expansive quality of words like "peace", it also offers an excellent variety of words to choose for meditations.

I haven’t read it yet, but before I do, I should say that I feel this book is overpriced for a few reasons:1) I mean, I can get a Conversations with God book for the same price and the book is over twice as large as Angel Words, and those books permanently changed my perspective and my life in a way that Angel Words can’t even begin to compare to.2) And it was a bit confusing because when looking at the graphs because in some of the instances, the negative words seemed to vibrate the same amount as (if not more than) their positive counterparts, which I found a bit strange. And some of the low vibrational words’ graphs looked like they were of higher vibration, like the words, “drugs,” “fat,” or even to some degree, “plaguing.” Confusing…3) I’m obviously no book publishing expert, but even I can tell that it looks rather unprofessional. And I’m actually a bit offended (in more of a hurt way rather than an indignant-A-hole-with-an-ego-problem kind of way) that I paid that much for a book with so many spelling errors; if you’re going to publish a book, please proofread it first! Just by very briefly scanning the book, I found 16 spelling errors (15 if “It’s my slavings account” is correct), and I had to make a bit of an effort to interpret what they were supposed to mean. And another, just small, thing that's just annoyingly inconsistent is in the chapter where low-engery and high-energy words are compared: all of the other words in the comparisons are in all caps and then there's "Employed Unemployed," with regular capitalization. Yes, I know, boo the nitpicker, BUT I aspire to write a book one day and when I do, I'll hold myself to the same standards! This is just my opinion, but a book that I can identify at least 20 issues within damages the reputation of book publishing in my book (no pun intended); I guess I still have that naiveté from my youth that thought of books as authoritative sources of information. Though now I am slowly finding out that, much like the internet, you can apparently put whatever you want in a book. End of tangent.There were also some bits that didn’t make much sense to me. For instance, listing the old and new clichés. I thought that “new clichés” were positive versions of the “old clichés,” that mean that same thing. But in some instances, it felt more like a manual of Positive Thinking Do’s and Don’ts of idioms. Like, “Luxury is an enemy,” is replaced by “Luxury is like our soul-mate lover!” Or “Everything I love is illegal, immoral, or fattening,” is replaced by “Life is great!” … That one raised an eyebrow for me.With all that being said, I still very much look forward to reading the book! ^_^"

I read this book and after i finished it i gave it to a friend. I would LOVE to buy 50 books to have on hand to give out to people.I think everyone needs this. It shows how the words actually influenced peoples lives. I feel like people would listen to this book as opposed to just tell someone to be postive. If you would like to change your life for the better get this book!

Our words - no matter if spoken to others or said in silent mental self talk - are the bricks and mortar of what we live, and what we pass onto our world and our children. They are the energy and force of life. May we learn to use the well!

A really informative book. What we are now are the result of what we had thought. Every day and every moment we should be aware about what we think and say. Positive words are so much powerful which can turnaround your life no matter where you are and what you are now. It's never too late.This book gives you a positive and basic insight about why we should think and speak positive all the time. The words and sentences are put into simpler form so that anyone and everyone can understand it. This book has nothing to do with religion and makes you aware that the law of the universe is common to all no matter which religion or sect you be long to.

I am a complementary therapist and understand a lot about the world of energy. I chose this book, because I coach people to help them feel better about themselves and I thought it would be a great addition to my wide selection of books in the subject of positive thinking. It didn't let me down. This book will be great for beginners and people with more advanced knowledge in this field, who would like to find some evidence to start believing in or to backup their knowledge on positive thinking. There are interesting stories and fantastic examples in the book on how to choose our words wisely to create positive energy to nuorish our own energy system and attract more good energies towards us to change our lives and be happier.

Great book, it is definably the reminder we need that out words and thought have so much power over out lives and that we can indeed gain control over our feelings and outcomes simply by changing the words we use and how we express ourselves.You will see a shift in your thinking and outcomes in things when following the re wording of everyday words and expressions we use... I can not give enough stars to this book !!!
