First Time Used Since I Was a Kid
When I was a kid I lived in blue jeans. Of course, eventually the knees would wear out, and my mother would extend the life of my jeans by applying iron-on denim patches. Decades later, I found myself daily wearing one or two pairs of blue jeans around the house and yard because they are so comfortable and durable. Even though I am nowhere near as hard on these jeans as I was as a kid, the knees did wear out on the oldest pair, which happened to be my favorite ones for comfort. As an aside, I cannot understand why people actually buy new jeans with holes already in the knees because a knee cap sticking out of a hole restricts movement, not to mention there is no skin protection. So, I considered throwing these old jeans out, but then I remembered the old iron-on patches of long ago. I hoped that they were still available, and I quickly found these Singer patches on Amazon. They were super-easy to iron on with a hot iron on "cotton" setting for about 45 seconds or so, making sure to seal the edges down tight. Now, I am back in my old jeans feeling like a kid again. I cannot feel any difference while wearing my jeans now, that is, the patches don't feel stiff or tight. If you love your old jeans, I highly recommend these patches, which come in different shades of blue. The photo is a "selfie" looking down at my left knee. Of course the patch is evident, but who cares? My old jeans have a new life.

Easy to use
The one thing I disliked is that the lightest patches are much darker than pictured or they sent me the wrong ones. Anyway, I used them. They are so easy! Make sure the jeans are on a flat surface and spread flat out, then iron and you're done. They stay on well, even after washing!

They Fall Right Off
These patches have no durability or longevity- they fall right off the 'repaired' denim within a few days.I've attempted several different repairs on different clothes using different patches sizes from this set and gotten the same results every time: the patches fall off before they even make it to laundry day. Most of these reviews seem to be have been written just after applying the patches (or by AI...) with no thought given to how well they actually hold up. Sure, they are easy to apply. But that doesn't matter if they come off just as easily.Do not buy these.

Great patch
It seems like I have had to patch quite a few pairs of pants recently and these have been my patches of choice. I followed the directions and these have done a great job. I ran out of the Singer brand of patches a few weeks ago and needed to patch some pants so I used a different brand, but the other brand didn't stick as well and didn't last through even 1 wearing. So I just ordered more of these and am happily patching my pants again.A quick note for those of you who think the whole denim look is boring, one of the things I like to do is sew in a colored or patterned fabric to the hole in the pants and then I iron a patch on behind the fabric. The patch keeps the fabric in place and gives it the strength to withstand the abuse that my kids do to their pants.I happily recommend this product.
