Tech21 Evo Wallet for iPhone 7 - Black

This is the best functioning and most protective yet thin iPhone 7 case I've found. I ordered three and received them April 19 because I found a seller offering a great price on overstocked units, $11.95 each. But in May the snap on the lid that keeps it shut broke so it wouldn't stay closed. I started using another one and glued the first one back together with superglue. July 1 the second one broke while I was on a trip. I just used it without being able to snap it shut until I returned home July 11. I started using the first one I had superglued and it's still holding since I started using it July 11 (it's July 20 as I write this). I haven't attempted to contact Tech21 about a replacement yet so I don't know if they will replace it or not. When I decided to buy these after much research I knew this was a common problem from reading reviews on Amazon, that's why I bought three for a total of $36, so I'd have spares. I will say each unit comes nicely packaged and includes an interchangeable slat which replaces the screen cover to make it a plain case without a screen cover like most other cases. So it's still a functional phone case if the cover snap breaks if you swap these out. A nice feature and also gives user a choice of a cover over the screen or not. Some probably wouldn't want the cover. It does not include a clear glass template to protect the screen though. I put one on my phone anyway in case I dropped it while I had the screen cover open. So worst case even if the cover snap breaks you can revert to a normal non-covered case or just use the cover without the snap. The case is very protective on corners and edges and has a good screen inset to protect the screen should you drop it face down without a cover protecting it. I've dropped it several times outside with no damage. Summing up it's a great, protective yet thin case that's convertible between a screen flap version or an open screen version. Just beware the screen cover snap will probable break at some point unless Tech21 corrects the problem in later production units.UPDATE! 7/22/2017I emailed Supply Giant, the company I bought three of the EVO WALLETs from on Amazon, and told them my plight about the two clasps that broke on two cases. I didn't really expect them to do anything except refer me to Tech21. BUT THEY SENT ME A NEW CASE AND THREE NEW OUTSIDE replacement flaps FREE OF CHARGE, and they arrived in two days! That's what I call customer service! These people are serious about standing behind what they sell. I'll definitely be buying more accessories from them!

Outstanding at a very reasonable price. Holds a DL and credit card safely inside. Improvement over old version.

Nicely packaged with original box. The body of the case is a little bulkier than I expected. The flap to cover your screen seems flimsy and the wallet portion is very small. The volume buttons on the side work properly but the power button doesn't work and attempts to power off my phone which is a frustration. I find myself having to use the accessive touch to power off my phone. When I tried to see if anything was wrong with the button (didn't touch it at all) it was loose and when I put my finger against it, it popped off. The description is misleading because it is not at all lightweight or slim but for the price it is good quality. The case itself is good but the power button problem makes it disfunctional

Great card holder and phone protector. I’ve owned a few of these over the years and love them. The weak link is the snap closure.Tip: don’t put more than two cards in it and it will last much longer.

That case looks great so I went to try it on and everything was fine tell I tried to click on my power button and let me tell you that thing is like a rock. It wouldn't turn the phone off and it keeps asking me if I want to shut the phone and I have to cancel it everytime. Case is great and all but having that one problem causes the whole case to be useless.

This is my husbands second version of this. First for a 6 and now the iPhone 7/8. Love it. Extremely durable and long lasting. First case lasted over 2 years of hard wear.

I Love this case. I don’t use the card slots but I see that I Could if I wanted to with that little protective flap over the cards.
