This is the best tarp I have ever owned. I used it cover my greenhouse during our brutal Utah summer heat and sun. It performed better than expected. Still looks new after being up all summer. Its stayed put and the grommets are strong enough for the worst weather conditions. I will be buying more.

Was looking for a WHITE tarp to cover a bar-b-que. My bar-b-que is "permanently" set in a block housing, so instead of having to lift it out of there every time to store it, I just leave it there. Of course, that means it gets beat-up by the weather. All standard bar-b-que covers I researched were black. How dumb is that? Those things absorb heat like a thirsty sponge, which is why I chose this WHITE tarp. The heat reflected by it is great, AND it cost a tenth of what most bar-b-que covers cost. I can't tell you the exact mil (thickness) of it, but it's pretty thick, and I felt it would do just fine in direct summer sunlight and heat.

I actually bought tarp to spread across my bed because my cat loves to lounge and sleep on the bed during the day, but because she's left a few accidents on my comforter is what ultimately led me to think about finding an inexpensive and easy way to solve that problem. Answer? A waterproof tarp that covers my queen size bed and when there's been those kitty "accidents", it's been so easy to clean up, leaving my comforter intact.
