This works great for my Jacuzzi water changes. Literally cut my time by 4 hours! Took only 30 min to empty 300 gallons with my garden hose attached. So glad I found this.

The media could not be loaded. This is such an upgrade from my last sub pump for my pool. I’ve been using it to drain some water out of the pool while it’s closed. If it rains too much then I use it to get water off the pool cover. It’s so easy to just plug in and drop in the water. It turns on by itself when it detects water and it drains the water very quickly. Very high quality and built to last.

Used only once and unplugged immediately after draining was completed. I thought that based upon the performance that it was a good buy. The next time that I tried to use it, nothing! The lights stayed green. I checked for debris, nothing. I followed the troubleshooting guide, nothing! This item is a complete waste.

Initially I thought I'd need more HP but the numbers advertised for this were consistent with pumps that have more HP and I liked the other features and look of this pump. The key to this little powerhouse is the 2 inch hose compatibility. It's a game changer. I have a drain under my deck that backs up every time there is a heavy rain. Over the years I've had different pumps but in heavy conditions, they cannot keep up. The smart bot turns on when water is at 2 inches and quickly starts moving. I haven't tested this in tropical storm level conditions so that will be the next challenge but for "regular" heavy rain storms that pass in 30-60 minutes - rains that would cause a back up of several inches - this pump has no problem keeping up. Gives me a lot of piece of mind. I have only one suggestion but it's fairly specific, the lights (the "eyes") are always illuminated. I wish they only turned on when in use, or turned a different color when in use. I have a camera under the deck so I can monitor the drain and I would love to have an indication that the pump is engaged. I've recommended this pump to my neighbor and brother and its by far the best pump I've had. If has good reliability over the years this will have been a steal at $200.

The media could not be loaded. Very impressed, especially using a 2 inch hose! This drained my 400ish gallon hot tub in about 5-10 minutes (wish I had set a timer to know for sue). For over 15 years I've been using a small utility pump and a 3/4 inch garden hose and it would take 3+ hours. Do yourself a favor and find a 2 inch hose to really maximize the output. This device works great and the auto shutoff is very cool. It just sits quietly and pumps all the water out. I have it in a murky leaf filled area near my Well pump that gets flooded when it rains heavily. the pump is holding up in this dirty water. I used the 3/4" attachment and it is slow but moving the water very well. I highly recommend this to anyone. It also comes with a really long cord.
