NIV, Outreach Bible, Paperback, Blue Paperback – January 6, 2015

Yes, thin pages. Yes, small print. Dude, it's a $4 bible... what are you expecting?! These were purchased for my five children who each need a bible for school. Children destroy or lose just about everything they lay hands on, even the word of God. Better a bible that can be replaced for a reasonable price than a more expensive version. For its intended users and its intended use for us its totally PREFECT! The kids love it, don't seem to mind the size of the print one bit and I'm grateful for this affordable option!

Best price on an NIV Bible i could find. I needed one to take on a mission trip, and packing space made me look for something smaller than my normal Bible. This one is perfect size, I can read the print just fine, but doesnt take up a ton of space. That being said, the paper quality is pretty low, almost like newsprint...a little better than that, but not much. If you just need a cheap Bible this one is a good deal.

The Bible is amazing, its very well made since I got mine used. I've been going to church every Sunday and yet I didn't have a Bible. The Bible I got is very easy to read, honestly its basically talking about how life is from the past comparing today, correct me if i'm wrong this is only an opinion to me. If you're used to an older version of the Bible, this Bible and its modern terminology may be a bit difficult for you to swallow. I have used a 1970's NIV Bible for the past ten years and I love that Bible. It's actually a Zondervan Bible too. But this Bible is written in modern terminology and it's hard for me to wrap my head around. Not that it's hard to understand, but there are moments when I feel that it's not spiritually inspired.

I purchased this low cost NIV version for teens and pre-teens. However, the print is very small and many of them commented on that. For the price though, we got what we paid for. In the final analysis, we have placed the word of God in the hands of 20 additional members of God's people as we continue to reach out to save souls. Next time the print will be larger and God's Word will be bolder.

I bought this as a distant reference source. As such I find it to be of marginal value.Thirty-two years were spent in the "believing" world and I've found myself redeemed. With my rather extensive library of scripture long buried and gone this "Nearly Inspired Version" is a passable volume that serves as an unpreferred but occasionally necessary reference. At eight bucks or so I can deal with that.

product is as described. It's a paperback Bible. I'm not big on NIV version but I wanted to have one to cross reference with my other Bibles. This works perfect for that.

Great price, I bought these to give away but I use one myself as a back up Bible. The chapter titles are small and hard to distinguish but its not that important. Buy it if you want a nice bible to let people borrow or have. Great introductory bible but probably not a gift.

this is a great bible! tells the story well and anyone that thinks the printing is small they are just crazy! because that is the normal size of any printing in a bible, bible printing is different then book printing!

the paper is from ancient time and letters are small.it is ok for a young person but old people may have problem reading.it took almost 10 days to get it..

I bought for a friend but after seeing how small the print is I went with something else. Also, the cover is flimsy.
