C-4 Floor Jack, 1 Pack (5)

I replaced some wedged-in 4x4s with these under my bungalow to correct a sagging beam. I first embedded a solid concrete block in the ground as a footing at each location, and put these in place making sure each one was at a point where the beam intersected with a joist. Worked like a charm. Floors are now relatively level and much more solid.

This jack is extremely awkward to use. It has four moving parts which have to held together while it is being installed. I was working in a tight space with barely enough room for both hands. Once installed it is very sturdy.

My AV Receiver weighs like 45 pounds and the shelf is starting to bend. That's the only place I could put the receiver because of where the cables come out there. It's black and pretty low profile so it's not much of an eye sore. you will need a crescent wrench to make adjustments once you get it all in place and hand tight.

Good solid product! Used in a crawlspace for more floor support, product doing its job!

Comes in 4 pieces, easy to assemble. Once you put some pressure on it by extending the screw jack with a 19mm wrench, it's very sturdy.
