Love this salt. Great price for the size of the bag.

I have been a fan of pink salt for years. For many dishes a little grind of pink salt is just right as a light top dressing. When my last bag of pink salt ran out I decided to try VivaDoria's offering. The price worked out to $6.48/pound, which was a bit more than what I paid previously for coarse pink Himalayan salt. The grain size is normal for "coarse" salt of this type--just right for grinding. The color is indistinguishable from my old stock. The taste was consistent, too. Photos: 1. I have no way of knowing whether or not this brand of Himalayan Salt is all the manufacturer says it is regarding its trace minerals. Nor do I know if it's mined by slaves as Google tells me much Himalayan salt is. All because I can't find a reputable independent review of the product. What I can say is that it tastes wonderful, works very well in my Oxo Salt Grinders, and the price is definitely right. My previous purchase of this salt was for me a little over 2 years ago. 2 Bags, 2 lbs. each. I use it in my home and in my office where I share it with my boss--and I still have a little over 1/4 of each bag left. I purchased two more bags today just to make sure I don't run out--for another 2 years or so. LOL If anyone can find a legitimate, independent review of Viva Doria Pink Himalayan Salt, I'd appreciate you posting it.

This is salt, pink salt, but just salt. This is the corse grind and it would look great in a clear grinder if you have one. It still looks pink when youngrind it. I’ve never seen any impurities when filling the grinder and thats the only test I can do. Otherwise, it’s salt and it tastes salty. I brought it based on price and quantity and I would advise you to do the same..

Pretty good salt. However, does require a grinder and constantly filling containers. I have an electric grinder. Taste good and adds to gourmet dishes.

I just love this pink Hymlanan salt. It's my 2nd order! It lasts for atleast a year. Has texture, great size and course. Perfect for mill grinding nd electric grinders which I have!

Bought this to restock on salt for my salt mill as we were running low. Not quite as coarse of a salt rock as I thought it would be, but none the less a good rock salt. Works well in my salt mill and tastes like it should. Like salt. Hope this review helps.

I leave it on the counter and we will take a few granules through out the day to suck on if we are so inclined.
