Make sure you have a lot of milkweed, as they really eat a lot of the leaves and you need fresh leaves for them to cocoon.
I SO enjoyed getting to raise Monarch Butterflies ... It was exciting and I posted their progress with photos, on FaceBook!!! I received so many comments, as many were watching them progress, also, via My FB. Enjoyed by MANY! I learned so much about my favorite Monarch Butterflies!

INACCURATE DESCRIPTION
We ordered this kit and paid more because according to the description you are supposed to get a certificate to mail in for a 4 inch to 1 gallon milkweed plant. Upon opening the package we found no certificate for the plant just seeds!!!!! I would not have spent more on this kit had I known this. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

Love Monarch Butterflies
I totally enjoyed my Monarch growing kit. I did get a lot this year, but did raise and release three of them! I look forward to next year!

Don't use mailin certificate
Many of the monarchs mailed in any form can be infected with a bacterial infection called OE. This is spreading it into many areas of our country that didn't have a problrm with it before. Please don't take a chance.
