WHY?
Why hasn’t a book like this already been written? Why is this the only one that feels real, relatable, and remarkably human? These pages are like a road map to friendship- you know, the paper kind that never folds back the way it’s supposed to? Because friendships are sloppy, and Jess and Amy show us that through personal stories- bumps, bruises, and all. They also show us how to be the friend with the first aid kit, the one who shows up when every else is eating chips and salsa without you. They are right- true adult friendships are hard, but not impossible. They may be difficult to find, but are not invisible. I recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their friendships or to anyone trying to find just one true-blue friend.Jess and Amy, I want to thank you for your prayer in the introduction. It made me want to cry, because I am that woman and I needed so much to hear those words.Love,Amy

Every Woman Needs To Read This Book!
This. This is the book I needed when I was dealing with the mean girls in high school. When I was feeling like I wasn't good enough in college. When I was a lonely stay-at-home mom with two little ones. When I was treated poorly by my (now ex-) husband. When I was starting over in a new town with young kids, and intimidated by everything. And now, when I'm trying to help my own daughter to feel like she's enough. And help my friends to know that they are loved. This book ...is exactly what I needed.

The Book I Never Knew I Needed
If you have EVER found yourself feeling alone in a crowded room, or watching FRIENDS episodes and yearning for that camaraderie but not knowing where or how to find it, this is the book for you! Amy and Jess hit home on so many things that I didn't even realize were still bothering me. It opened my eyes to why some other people are drawn to me while others take an instant dislike to me- and made me feel unashamed about that. This book made me laugh out loud at times, and ugly cry at others. It gave me ALL the feels and left me with a sense of peace and purpose I didn't realize I needed. I had a friend who was slowly drifting away and I kept rationalizing that "life happens and we're both busy" but this book opened my eyes to the fact that it doesn't have to be that way. I started reaching out and she started reaching back until we finally rekindled our friendship. I have Jess and Amy to thank for that because, in the past, I had just let them go. I think everyone, from teenage years and up, should read this book. The world would be a lot happier if we all took the lessons in this book and applied them to our lives and friendships. I have bought multiple copies for my friends!

Adult Friendship 101
THIS is the book I needed when treading the waters of high school friendship heartbreaks, college fall outs, and especially now - a 30 something Mom sometimes struggling to find connection and true friendship in the midst of a chaotic day to day life!I laughed, cried, felt comfort and relief in SO many of the stories (it's not just me?!). This is an incredible, easy to read, work of art. Jess and Amy poured their hearts into every word! I feel challenged and stretched to BE a better friend as well! The gentle advice throughout each chapter is encouraging and truthful.I highly suggest grabbing a few extra copies to gift. 😊

Buy it, Read it, Share it!
Amy Weatherly and Jess Johnston expose real stories that resonate with me and chances are, you too. I have read the electronic version of the book and so happy to have my hands on a hard copy so that I can reread and highlight, make notes, and really delve further into the insights that the authors talk about. I'm thankful for a book like this. The book itself could be read in a day or two. I bought 4 books, one to keep, and the rest to give away. It's definitely a book you will want to share.

We were made for authentic relationships.
I received a pre-release of this book about sisterhood and friendship. It was so touching. If you are looking to connect with other women but struggle with comparison or with finding your circle, or if you are parenting girls and they’ve had friendship difficulties, or if you have a great core group and would just like to strengthen some of those relationships, you’re certain to find solace and encouragement in these pages. I had so many takeaways about finding and creating genuine friendships. A couple of them in particular keep coming to mind:From Chapter 7: "Friendship can be a sacred place if we let down our guard, let each other in (like really in), and let ourselves be known and seen. In that space, insecurity dissappears if we set a precedent for each other that you belong here, no matter what."From Chapter 13: "It's so easy to be against one another ... but it doesn't have to be that way on our watch. We get to choose. We get to choose the kind of sisterhood we pass down to the next generation ... The world is watching, and our daughters are watching. Let's use our words to spark one another's flames."

Real life feelings of friendship and the struggles and joys.
Wonderful, real and sweet. It feels like Amy and Jess are speaking to you directly about their very personal experiences and feelings. Feelings that we all have experienced and never know quite how to handle them. It will make you look at relationships in a different way and better your own confidence. Great read that will help any friendships no matter your age!
