Works great, great value
This was a perfect fit to replace the gears on the rear blend doors of my 2010 Expedition. The process of swapping out the gears was very easy. Both blend door modules were bad, so I did them both at the same time. Knowing that, if I had only one that was bad, I think I'd do both at the same time since getting to the parts is more difficult that actually fixing the gear.

It works. 2003 Ford Expedition.
I just installed this gear into one of my motor actuators in the rear a/c heat assembly about 20 minutes ago. I replaced an entire actuator last weekend for almost $40, and when I went to test it, it worked fine but I found out the other actuator for the overhead air flow/lower air flow was clicking and not working. When I bought my first actuator I took it apart and found the gear teeth broken which is the gear this replaces. But I didn't know or think about just being able to replace the gear. So after replacing the first actuator and almost ordering the other broken actuator I found that I could just order this gear for about 1/3 the price of an entire actuator. It comes with what appears to be a silicone grease. It fits correctly with no issues. Of course, I can't tell you how long this will last, only that it is working now. The original lasted about 15 years and for the past few years I was just too lazy to replace anything and so I didn't even use rear heat or a/c.Ford designed the original gear with no thought at all. This broken gear appears to happen to many, many ford actuators across many models and years. I would like to use swear words here to give you my thoughts about Ford.

Very expensive for a simple plastic gear but no other choice.
Very expensive for a simple plastic gear but no other choice. You should get a pack of 10 for this price.

Fixed the problem not easy to install
The part fixed the problem and works well. I am very capable at fixing cars but this was a pain to install in my 2003 Ford Explorer. The unit is located on the driver's side just below the controls for the air. I had to remove the center console and the acess panel below the steering wheel. The unit if you were sitting in the drivers seat would be located by your knee. Once everything is removed you will find the box containing the gear is behind a fixed part of the dash you can not remove. There are 3 screws holding in place, of course there is a screw you can't see on the top so you must use your tool blind. Once I got the control box out it was a simple process to repair with the kit. I do recommend this kit, but it took longer than I expected.

Cheaper than buying the whole actuator.
I was excited to find just the gear that I needed. Instead of buying the whole actuator. So far, so good. We'll see how long it lasts. I gave it 4 stars only because I thought it was a little pricey for what you get.

It works
Installed on 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. Pack contains only the gear that most commonly breaks, and some gear grease. Removal of the actuator is somewhat tedious, but the gear replacement itself is easy.

R&R
I bought 2 of these, 1 for the temp blend and 1 for the airflow blend door. With small flat head screwdriver gently release the tabs holding the case together, remove the stripped gear, clean the broken teeth out, lubricate, and snap it back together, its that easy. Comes with a packet of grease that is more than plenty to finish the job, plus is half the cost of a new one. (Hint) if you were skilled enough to remove the actuator from the vehicle then you are skilled enough to preform this 5 min repair and save yourself some money of replacing the whole unit.
