I have had this product for two months now and was impressed up until now. I have the lights hooked to my google home mini and they worked fine. I could walk into my dorm room and say "Hey Google, Turn on the lights" and it would light up my room. Then one day I went to turn it off and when I told google to turn them off they turned blue. I did a little bit of investigation by unplugging them, disconnecting them from the internet, and finally tried to use the remote. I had no luck... These light were not very cheap and I am very disappointed with what I have now. I also noticed that when I turn them on there is this very high pitched noise that comes from somewhere. I would not recommend these to someone who wants to use them as actual lighting because they are simply unreliable.

Wifi pretty much non-functional. App is zero help, and requires too much personal info and "permissions". Printed instructions unreadable. This is not my first rodeo with wifi enabled products. This one needs some serious overhaul. It gets 2 stars because the LEDs do turn on, and the manual remote does work, sort of. (strobe, fade, and flash functions are not what they should be.) Seek higher quality product.

Great vibrant colors without any lag to control. It has been on continuously for a week. It has multiple color schemes and flashing options. You can keep it a solid color too. It does not generate significant heat. The best part is that it turns on and off with the TV so I never have to make any adjustments. I didn't stick it to the back of my TV, I just hung it across the wall mount incase I want to use it somewhere else. I'm probably going to buy a few more for the rest of the Tv's in the house.

The adhesive on the side doesn't really stick very well. I adhered it to the back of my TV and I had to use scotch tape to keep it there. It also really annoyingly has the same IR signal as my Receiver so whenever I switch that with the remote the LED strip starts freaking out and flashing white really fast so hopefully nobody with epilepsy is over when I switch sources to Xbox. I suppose I can't fault them for that though.

Purchased these lights for my teenage daughter. She wrapped them around the back of her headboard and is loving them (as I think most teenagers would). She can use it at night for a little extra light for chilling in bed or for reading. They were easy to attach as they come with adhesive already on the back. All you have to do is pull off the paper and stick it and it is ready to plug in and use.

I ordered these to put them in my camper as ambiance lighting under the edge of the bed and couches and boy are they much more! I am going to be putting these around the slide out edges and more. Have to order more. I love you can cut them to length you want.I figured they would be fair to moderately bright and maybe be able to be changed from white to colors. I had no idea that they were programmable, had presets you can make, the controls are more than robust, they are amazing! As you can see in the video and photos these things can be made to shine brighter or dimmer, and any color combination you can think of or of course the solid colors of Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. The ability to change the settings are endless and was fun to play with.What I like is these are bright enough to be used to illuminate a work bench or a working area, and also as decorative lighting like I am going to use them for.These LED lights are more than I had hoped for and are amazing for the price. They are on a strip which you can cut to length and is adhesive backed. I will be using some extra strength double sided tape to help hold it in place.If you need LED strip lighting for indoor use, this is definitely something you can use and able to do more than people think! My son wants some now for his room to put up. As you can see from the last photo I decided to install them in my new office. I used the adhesive backing on the strip and it stuck no problem. I cut to the length of the space I had and it worked fantastic! I get a lot of compliments.

My strip has already been used by someone and returned!!! The backing was gone off of the strip and there was human hair stuck to it all along the strip!! It does work nice but would prefer a new one not a used one with stripper hair all over it!!.....like other reviews box does make buzzing sound when moving from colors

We got these to light up our bar alcove shelves. They haven’t gone in yet as we are still putting everything in, but we’ve played with them and my fiancé absolutely LOVES it! The colors are fun and it draws very little electricity. We are very happy and highly recommend.

I've always loved LED lights and I was very pleased when I turn this led kit on. The LEDs have a very nice vibrancy and are sure to light up any room providing it a nice Ambience. The kid itself has a 16 foot LED strip which can be cut only at specific points which are indicated on the role as well as in the instructions. The unit comes with a 3-foot black wall adapter which plugs into an infrared receiver which has a white box on it. From there you can control it using a remote control and expand additional LED strips with a similar type of ribbon pin system. The remote control is excellent as it provides a variety of colors and they are extremely vibrant and varied you can also change different fate patterns and the overall brightness. The LED strips don't show up nicely on camera but in person they look absolutely phenomenal. The strips themselves have also an adhesive backing and overall is a perfect kit for ambient lighting such as a living room or your computer setup. Personally I will be using it for one of my computer setups it'll be behind the table providing a nice and be at lighting against my wall. If you're looking for a nice LED strip this is definitely the right one that you're looking for as it provides a good amount of length and customizability.

This product fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install, just plug in and control using the a very responsive remote control. The remote has several pre-programmed light sequences, and many solid colours as well. I posted a video showing the colour patterns, and a photo of the basic white-red-green-blue colours.When i plugged in the LED lights, i made sure that the infrared receiver was visible and accessible, and i point the remote control directly onto the lED lights. So far ive been able to control it from the foot of my stairs. (The outlet is near the top part of the stairs.)The light is bright enough at the default setting, and there is also the option of adjusting the brightness of each colour. The full brightness offered more contrast against my wall and the handrail, while the lowest one gave a softer, more transitioned look.The 3M double-sided tape is strong enough for the product. I wanted the LED lights to turn on at a certain time of day, so i installed a separate timer for it on the outlet. I see myself enjoying the colour patterns for the holidays!These would look very cool around windows for christmas decor, under cabinets and beds, dressers (behind the dresser mirror) and in bookshelves and display cases.Seller is easy to deal with as well, very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

I really would like to rate these lights higher than 1 star. The actual hardware is quite good, lights are bright, adhesive is 3M, the connections all fit nicely and there is even a rubberized protective layer over the LED strip which is a great touch. Sounds great right?WRONG! The software used to control this device, Magic Home, is ABYSMAL.Connecting the lights to its native software was difficult. I eventually i was successful but i was frustrated by the time the lights were responding properly to my input.ACTIVATING the required skill through Alexa is easy, but this has nothing to do with the native software as it is Amazon supporting Alexa(thank you Amazon!).Unfortunately, this is where everything goes quickly downhill and the light strip becomes more of a pain in the *** than a useful device. Connecting the light strip through its native software and linking with home automation such as Alexa is a task that will have the strongest person on their knees. Horrible UI, lack of instructions and simply bad software will have you attempting to search for this device and connect it over and over again until you eventually get lucky.That's not so bad for a good set of lights, one bad feature shouldn't constitute a 1 star rating, right?NOPE! Get ready to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME YOUR POWER FLUCTUATES.I have had "brown-outs" of my power that last less than half a second and immediately the connection to Alexa is destroyed. You literally have to remove the device entirely from both Alexa and the native software AND START FROM SCRATCH. Believe me, it is NOT easier the second time around.I have had to reconnect these no less than 10 times since i bought them, 4 months ago to the day. They disconnected on me last night and i honestly dont have the mental fortitude to go through the procedure again. I'm done. Ill find a better option from a company with good software, like TECKIN and their SMART LIFE app which is 1000x more user friendly than MAGIC HOME.If you are going to use these lights only controlled from your phone and you have no intention of using the home automation feature, such as Alexa integration, then these might be fine for you as the software is functional at its most base once you fight your way through the connection process.That said, why buy a premium device with these features plastered all over the product page if you have no intention of using said features. Right, you wouldn't, so DON'T.Take my word for it, as someone who has tried to love this product because the hardware is solid, but given up hope due to endless software issues. Avoid this product, the software is just too bad to be forgiven.

This is one of the best led light strips I have bought and this is the first one that I have seen that came with its own adapter for power.Pros:-Endless lighting combinations and more color available then another light strip I bought for my TV-Really Bright (can control the brightness and the max brightness looks very good )-Comes with preinstalled 3M tape so it reassures that it will stay on and come off easy-Make your own lighting combinations and save via the DIY buttons on the remote-Extendable via the that is provided in the packageCons-Cannot be controlled by the smart home apps such as Google home or echo (maybe for the price your paying you don't need it?-Wasn't able to figure out to alternate between settings or set a timer for them to turn off at such time or after some time has elapsedOverall was satisfied with this purchase and will refer to friends to purchase, my use was to decorate a cabinet with led lights tracing the inside.

Very nice way to add some mood lighting and ambient light around the TV. Using this allows me to turn off all the lights in the TV room while still having the LED strip provide some light and set the mood, and allows me to finish movies without tiring my eyes. You can pretty much tweak the colour to anything you like with the little remote, i showed a few with my photos but I am impressed with how you can set any colour you like. The strip was enough to go around my 52 inch th with plenty to spare, I plan to add this to my gaming PC as well.
