Crash tested and approved.
I took a pretty hard fall right after putting these on my DRZ400 The bike landed on the shift lever and forced it into the side of the case cover where there is now a large dent. They performed as expected and saved my case. Had these not been installed it would have punctured the case, I would of lost all my oil and been stranded. The only downside is they are a bit expensive but I could not find them for less anywhere else.PS the silver looks great on the DRZ I think I may stencil some art on them to dress them up more.PSS I was able to install them in about 30 min using high temp RTV I bought from Wal-Mart. The large plate took an entire tube of RTV and the small plate took about a half tube.

Clutch & magneto cover protectors
Decent product. Fit is just ok, not perfect but usable. Gotta use some RTV to glue them on. Seems like they would help prevent moderate impact damage, but they're definitely not "heavy duty". Price was ok & they look good on the bike.

They work!
They fit perfect, and they work. I have these on two of my bikes. I ride in some pretty gnarly rock. Had a spill a while back and they did their job. One side ended up getting knocked off so I replaced it. Put a set on a second bike. You cant beat the protection for the money.

Protection for my DRZ
Worried about punching a hole through my case while riding in Moab, well worth the money to protect my bike while on the trail. Used RTV to stick it on. Held it there with masking tape until it set up.

Does not fit
Showed up warped so it would not sit flat enough to stick on. Fell off on the trail but I unfortunately found it. I’m no blacksmith, but I will try hammering it into shape and try sticking it back on.

They Did Not Really Fit
The quality and appearance were both in order. The fitment however, was a bit off. They seemed to be slightly smaller than my engine casings. They did not come with any adhesive, which would have been helpful.Thanks

cheap, but effective
These case savers don't cost much, but they're worth every penny. They needed a little flexing and bending to get to fit just right, but a little clear silicone and you can barely tell. I caught a rock perfectly wrong and flipped my 3 month old drz400s down a hill full of 1-2 foot diameter boulders. I bent the mirrors and gouged the plastics, but because of these case savers, hand guards, radiator guards, skid plate, and a wide rear rack I was able to ride home.
