Frontier Co-op Herb Organic Star Anise Whole Salt Ground (16oz)

...and yet it arrived with what appears to be glitter all over the stars. Therefore, I would classify it as craft material rather than food grade. Very mild, muted fragrance compared to the robust star anise I have used in the past from the grocery store.

I use Frontier herb organic star anise in my hot tea. The herb is well preserved and delivered whole like a bag of delicious smelling stars.The taste is also delicious and the value for money is very fair. Frontier does a great job on all their dried herbs that Ive tried.

Bought it to make Shikimic Acid to combat covid....use it daily in tea, etc as well. Heavenly licorice smell and taste.

Love this star anise. I use it to make tea for the shikimic acid. Doesn't even really need sweetener, though I do use a little honey and stevia.
