Great activity book with the bonus of helping kids regulate their big feelings.
I was provided an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review. As soon as my 7yo daughter saw this book, she walked away with it to read it to herself. She found the activity on creating a fancy restaurant and set up a table, put on her fanciest dress, and wrote out menus for us. It ended up being a fun family activity! Getting that time with us all together really filled her cup. We've also done the bubble mountain activity, which was a big hit and kept my kids busy for a solid hour. Just soap and water with a straw! The calm down corner was also right up my introvert daughter's alley! What I love about this book is that the activities don't require a lot of setup or supplies. They're not messy. And they won't get my kids all amped up. I usually read through activity books and think "Naw, not that one," "That looks fun, but we don't have the stuff for it," or "That is way too much work and my kids will never go along with it." All the activities in this book are things my kids will actually do. This book is a great addition to the household. After a year and a half of being cooped up together at home, we could really use some new ways to move and play that help us all get along.

My son loves the activities in this book
My six year old loves this book. There are so many good, simple ideas in here for him, and many require very little or no equipment or planning. I love the activities that help kids regulate their energy and calm down after high stimulating days or activities. Very fun and easy. Highly recommend this book for anyone with kids 4 to 8.

Great simple book for kids!
My 8 year old has started picking this book up himself when he’s bored! This may have saved our summer vacation (or at least my sanity during our summer vacation). I love that the activities mostly don’t require props, or if they do, they’re always stuff we just have lying around, no weird stuff like a bottle of glycerin or what have you. A++. If you think you might need this book, you do.

A Fabulous Book in every way
This book is pure fun ! The activities, the language , (Growing your Garden of Feelings, Make a Magic Wand, Bubble Mountain, Dragon Breath ....- who can resist? ), the colors are happy, the illustrations inviting and simple and include people of all colors.each of the 3 sections is marked by a different color at the top corner of the pages, so it's easy to find (1: Little things, 2: Getting Along, 3: Big Feelings)The language is inclusive and characters diverse.all with a focus on expressing feelings in a peaceful productive wayThe title and subtitle of the book manifest the qualities the book is designed to inspire! : Positive Behavior, Fun and Engaging !As an adult, I am looking forward to using this book for myself :-)

Great for kids!
Stacy is an amazing coach and I was so happy to learn she wrote a book! While my son is 3, we have enjoyed some of activities already. We’ve made a glitter jar and cozy corner for him to retreat to when he needs a calming space. I can’t wait to do more with him. *I did receive an advance review copy from the publisher.*
