Survives Tornados & HUGE hail.
This product is amazing! I use it for my gopro max to capture footage of tornados, so far it has withheld being hit with softball to baseball size hail, it's been right next to large tornados with strong winds and doesn't even budge, the magnets are so strong that it stays on my truck permanently cos it's too hard to pull off 😂 love it!! 10/10 would buy again but won't need to

needs a brace
This is really strong but it needs a brace to hold a longer selfie stick at an angle. I guess I'll have to make one myself. Magnetic mounts are better than suction cups.

Strong magnets
Super strong magnets. It takes effort to actually take off a car. Drove on the highway with this set up on top of the car and it didn’t budge one bit.

Poor Mounting Setup
While the magnets do an excellent job, the mounting setup can't seem to hold a simple monopod. Couldn't keep it straight up or at an angle without it falling/dipping. Eventually, after going over a speedbump the mounting part cracked off of the ball while going over a speedbump. I'm giving the replacement I'm getting another chance, and trying a lighter monopod, I'm considering my self very lucky that I had lens guards on my insta360 x3....

3 strong magnets that's moves
This car attachment is really secure for attaching your photo gadgets as it has 3 strong magnets. Also the 3 magnets swivels making attaching it on sloping sections/curve of your car possible.

Perfection! Strong magnet
REALLY strong magnets. Do not use if you care about the paint on your car getting scratched. It's so strong, you have to slide it over to a non metal area to get one of the feet to release and be able to pull it off your car. SO STRONG, so versatile, but it will absolutely scratch the paint. Once you place it, plan to leave it there for a VERY long time. :D

Usable, with a few important drawbacks
By far the weakest part of this mount is the center screw that connects stuff to the base: it is simply a loose screw that fits through a hole, meaning it's 1) easy to lose and 2) has to be tightened with a wrench (first photo). Second, the wrench is of such poor quality that the short end doesn't even fit into the hex cap of the screw (second photo). If the screw looks misaligned with the wrench, that's because it IS; that's all the farther it goes on. The long end of the wrench fits just fine, but I'd rather be able to use the short end for more leverage. To make the whole setup more usable, I ordered some thumb-screws described as "1/4-20 x 3/8" Thumb Screw Stainless Steel Thumbscrew Black Thumb Screws Knurled Plastic Head 1" Round (10)". These can at least be tightened by hand, and if I lose one I've got 9 others (but I don't appreciate having to spend another $20 to make up for the deficiencies of this mount, and waiting another week for delivery). Ultimately, I'd rather see the manufacturer provide a permanent 1/4" mounting screw. This IS going to be used for cameras, after all, and almost every other mount provides this as part of the package. I really see no advantage to just having a hole for a loose screw that will ultimately just get dropped and roll under the car seat. That said, this thing does stick to the car, and I mean HARD. Getting it off my car took standing on the doorsill and grabbing it close to the end of one of the arms; I don't mind, however; at least this is confidence-inspiring. (I agree with another reviewer that a tab to aid in removal would be welcome.) I'd also advise you to wipe off the bottoms of the magnetic pads before mounting this to your car; mine had some sort of residue on them that was visible on the finish after removal. It wiped off just fine, but it's probably still a good idea to clean them up good before using them anyway (and make sure your car is clean, since any dirt under one of these magnets could scratch the finish). Despite the flaws I'm keeping this and hoping the thumb-screws I ordered make all the difference; until then, I echo the other customer's review that says to add a removal-assisting tab, and add (even more importantly) to provide a FIXED center screw for the secure mounting of camera equipment and other attachments without the (very real) possibility of losing parts.

Wow, it has some of the strongest magnets I've used, very tricky to dislodge... Easiest way I found is loosen one leg and then work on the others... I feel very confident leaving my camera on this, and swivel head is quality as well...
