Attack on Titan: Final Season - Part 1 - Blu-ray + DVD + Digital

I'm a huge AOT fan and have been on a recent binge buying up Blu Rays for each of the seasons. I have the complete sets for each prior season and just knew I wouldn't be able to wait for The Final Season complete set, so I went ahead and bought Part 1 and so far have not regretted it! My package didn't come damaged like other reviewer's, and I watch in Japanese dub with subtitles (can change languages on the Main Menu under Setup), so I can't comment on the dub.At the time of writing, I've just finished Disc 1 (Eps 60-65) and I've been pretty blown away with how much better the Blu Ray releases of those episodes look compared to the TV versions. The TV versions of the eps are what are on streaming services (Funimation, Crunchyroll, etc.) and while the changes are generally pretty subtle on the Blu Rays (the occasional redrawn face, extra blood, etc.), the one thing that isn't is the removal of the film grain (blur?) effect that was used on the TV versions. This has such a huge impact on making the Final Season Part 1 look so much more clean and polished, that it's really a shame streaming services will likely never put the Blu Ray eps on their sites!If you want to watch the Final Season Part 1 in it's highest quality with the best visuals, I can't recommend this Blu Ray enough! While it's still a notch below how amazing Part 2 looks (currently airing), it is a massive step-up from how Part 1 looked upon initial TV/streaming release!

It works well

Have had the full collection of episodes for awhile now, good to add episodes 60 through 75 to my collection, and the tweaking to the animation has made it MUCH better than the streaming versions. Something to note and look out for though, unlike the other five "Single part" collections this set has 6 discs instead of 4. 3 blu-ray & 3 DVD. I got all 6 in mine, however my friend was missing disc 1 of the DVD's, its underneath the insert for the digital code.

I've been watching Attack on Titan since last year and now I'm currently caught up with season 4 Part 1. This Blu Ray/DVD combo came in great condition and all discs work well with no freezing on episodes. I don't understand the 1 star reviews saying no subtitles. All you need to do is go to setup in the main menu and turn on Japanese Dolby audio. Great start to season 4.Thank you Amazon.

To start, I bought a used copy because it was about $10 cheaper than a new one. I didn't buy it necessarily as a collection piece (though that did factor into my purchase), but when I saw "Used - Like New" as the description, I was expecting the packaging to be off and maybe some slight imperfections on the discs themselves, but unfortunately "Like New" was an exaggeration.There's some pretty decent damage to the paper sleeve, not just at the corners and creases like you'd expect, but some sizable chips on the cover itself, which is disappointing, and not what I'd expect from a "like new" product. Along with that, the discs were very smudged with fingerprints and there was some slight scratching on the discs as well.While I'm not so much disappointed with the quality or price of the product, I'm more upset with the description of it's status and would love to have seen some pictures of the product that I'm purchasing from the Amazon store, since it came from their used products account. Other than that, still relatively happy with what I received, at least as long as the discs still play fluidly (if they don't, then there are more pressing issues to be addressed.)
