Nice made in USA bed, but it’d be nice if the cover was made slightly bigger and if the waterproof liner wrapped more around the foam. After a couple washes of the cover the bed can be pretty snug to get back together. Hope they consider a cooler more vinyl like cover as our pup seems to prefer that.

This product is very well made. The cover is good quality. I also liked the fact that I could purchase a USA made product. I would recommend this product for quality except for the waterproof cover. I was not impressed with the waterproof cover. It was cheaply made compared to the outer cover. Unfortunately, my dog did not like the bed. I worked with her for almost 30 days now and she will not sleep on it. I used the cover from her old bed initially and she would not stay on the bed. She avoids the corner that she always slept in and is now on the couch more. I put her old dog bed on top of the new and she would stay on it as long as we stayed next to her. As soon as we left she gets up and moves to a different place. So unfortunately I needed to return the bed.I did not realize there was so much involved in the return. It was my over sight that I would have to pay to return. I was feeling good about a guarantee on the product which spoke volumes to me on quality and so I missed that it would cost me to send it back. Also, there is a 'no hairs' condition upon receiving the return which is probably impossible. After all the dog did lie on the bed at times. I realize not covered with hair would be preferable but 'no hair' and it could be rejected would be too big of a question for me. If the bed was rejected then you have two weeks to come and pick it up. Since I live in Virginia I could not "come by" the CA business and pick it up if it were rejected. So I will keep the bed and donate to someone. So just be careful if you are thinking you can send this bed back easily. It is a nicely made product but I will be unable to purchase through them again due to the return policy.I did purchase a different memory foam bed for my golden retriever from Big Barker dog beds. It was EXTREMELY well made but the cost was double the price. Great customer service from the company as well.

My husband and I purchased this bed for our aging pup. Because it is made in the USA and we want to support American made products. The cover is very cheap looking microfiber fabric, there are nice looking high qualty microfiber fabrics but this is not one of them, we are keeping the bed but I am going to have another cover made, maybe one from cotton canvas. For this price I would have expected a more attractive cover. Also the interior waterproof liner does not have a zipper so you have to be careful as to not get the liner stuck in the cover zipper. Wish they would have put a zipper on the waterproof liner. Other than these comments the bed is fine..

Our 8 year-old mixed breed (lab, jack russell, german shepherd) has been having some issues with her back leg/paw: limping, favoring it, slowing down. The vet has run tests and x-rayed but can't come to any conclusion why. My concern is that she may be suffering from some hip dysplasia due to her shepherd genes.I wanted to make sure she was as comfortable as possible especially at night so we went looking for a nice, cushy bed. I was stunned at the price of this bed especially considering beds with fiberfill or those foam pellets are often 3 to 4 times more. We ordered it for her and I can honestly say this is the most pleased I've been with a dog bed. It sits up higher than those flat dog bed and doesn't have the sink-in issue which would make a dog who is already have leg problems struggle to get out. It conforms to her body and because it's memory foam it warms up and radiates her own body heat back to her.The cover (we got the Khaki / Tan (Plush Microsuede) is a little thin and slick but I assume that's due to the water resistant lining. We just threw her regular bedding on top and she drags it around her like a cocoon so it's all good.The size is perfect for a border collie or Australian shepherd if you need a size comparison. My dog is 35 pounds and it's got enough room for her to stretch out on her side. Definitely not big enough for her labradane brother to steal her spot. :)We will probably end up getting the 4.5" Deluxe Gel Memory Foam version in a few years if she stays on this same path just to continue making her life as comfortable as possible.Additionally, made in America. It made me happy that I could get a well-priced, high quality products and support an American business at the same time.

This is a top-of-the-line dog bed. I bought it for my greyhound who liked it from the first day. As a matter of fact, my granddaughter decided to try it out to see if it was comfortable and was promptly head butted off to the side by a very upset greyhound.I had purchased several different types of dog beds over the years and this one is by far the best. Others looked like they would last but always ended in a great disappointment. They never lasted more than a few months. I may have paid more than I planned to spend but considering the high quality of this dog bed, I think I will save money in the long run. After all, you get what you pay for and the three-year guarantee is what really sold me.I did get an opportunity to wash ithe cover once already because the dog isn't that neat all the time and the cover is like new again. No problem taking it off or putting it back on. The zipper runs the entire length of the longer side, which makes that task a breeze. And, it's a very heavy duty zipper -- not a flimsy one. Once again, another sign of great quality.My dog loves it and I'm glad she is sleeping on something that gives her the best support money can buy. Although she doesn't have any joint problems, I know this bed would be excellent if any should ever arise. Presently she weighs 80 pounds and there is no bottoming out at all -- just all-around comfy support.So far, both my greyhound and I are quite happy with this purchase. I will update my review as necessary.
