Perfect for Students
I needed a new laptop now that I've embarked on a Masters course - my old laptop still works, but the battery life on it is virtually non-existent. Thus, I was just looking for something that would run for a long time, and prove quick. This is exactly that. It's smaller than my old laptop - but this is a real bonus. It's much more lightweight, less bulky and easier to just slide into my rucksack. Besides, the screen is certainly still plenty big enough to stream shows, read documents and scour the web. It's really thin, which again is great for portability. The battery life *can* fluctuate. Sometimes this will lose battery fairly quickly after not doing much, but on the whole it'll last you for many, many hours at a time (even if you're googling things and keeping a Word document open). It's super quick, the settings are easy to find and control, and all in all, it's just reliable. For any office worker, and especially students, it's perfect. I have three-hour long lectures, and this gets me through with *plenty* of battery to spare. I really recommend this laptop.

Good quality for the price
I needed a lightweight, portable laptop to take to my classes and work meetings. I wanted it to be simple (not a gaming laptop) yet fast, and the battery life was important to me. I'm happy to say this laptop met my requirements, it's great to edit documents, with many of them open at the same time, browsing internet, and to use for video meetings. If these are your needs, this laptop will meet them.

Much slower than expected, tab problems
I only received this laptop a week ago and so far I'm not sure if it's faulty or a general issue with this laptop. The screen looks great and is ideal for photo editing, illustration work etc and so far the battery is lasting for hours and it's pretty quiet. Sound is great. I was looking forward to having more saving space too as with large programs like photoshop, there really isn't much space left for files. It looked very promising and much faster with 16GB and all the other improvements compared to my previous HP, which was really fast and working perfectly except for hinges and battery having issues only 3 years into usage. Previous laptops lasted 10 years.Anyway, this swift 3 is very slow so far, has problems opening browser tabs, the touchpad doesn't work quite often including other keys, and when moving mouse on task bar to switch from one open app to another, it stays on same app window and doesn't swap. It also only offers number passwords for some reason or finger prints and not word passwords. I have had windows 11 on my old laptop and all that was possible, so again not sure whether it's only an issue with this laptop or a general recent change in windows. I'm not sure yet whether to keep this one honestly as I need the laptop to work perfectly.
