Discworld Roleplaying Game

Daughter in law had been looking for this for months. She loves the role play in it and is waiting eagerly for another.

For £30 this was horrifically packaged leading to damaged corners and book looked dirty on the pages. Unhappy because this was a present for my husband and there is now insufficient time to return and repurchase before it is required.

This book is THICK with details and inspiration, most of which is blessedly optional, helping you to really zone in on what you love about Discworld. I'm a big fan of how inbuilt flaws are used in character creation, because without their issues, most Discworld characters wouldn't be half as funny and interesting.I'm more of a D&D player myself, but the system is simple enough once you've built your characters that it's not too much of a stretch. Building characters was a bit of a headscratcher at first, but it's noce that ot gets all the complexity out of the way early (and doesn't really carry it into the gameplay!) allowing you plenty of nuance without disrupting improv. and comedy.Wholeheartedly recommend. I was massively impressed and excited when I cracked it open.

Can't wait to play some campaigns with it! Easy to read, great instructions and funny. Just what you'd expect from Sir Terry Pratchett's amazing world!

Ein tolles Regelwerk, bei dem die Mitwirkung von Pratchett nicht zu übersehen ist. Ist für sich schon ein lesenswerter Spaß. Leider findet man keine fertigen Abenteuer dazu. Die Druckqualität ist gut, die Qualität des Einbands lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig.
