Abena Abri-Flex Premium Protective Underwear, Level 1, (Extra Small To XX-Large Sizes) Medium, 14 Count

I love Abena products. I usually use the higher-level absorption, but decided to try the 1st level. I like these for wear other than for traveling.

I have been ordering Abena Abri-Flex pull-ons, XL1 for my mother since 2012. They fit very well and never leak. Gives her confidence when out of the house. She is also a very deep sleeper and these help maintain her comfort and dignity. They are soft and breathable enough that rashes have been no issue at all. She said one of her favorite things about them is the tab that lets her know which side is the back and lets her roll them up and hold them closed when she throws them away.She gave me a few a year or so ago when I injured my back and couldn't even crawl to the bathroom, let alone walk. During my recovery, knowing an 'accident' would not require changing the sheets was such a blessing. They worked perfectly and I am a plus size 26/28. To protect myself from potential embarrassment I wore them to work my first day back. They were a little bulky under my dress pants but were hidden well under a skirt.I highly recommend these. Worth every penny. Nothing works like these do for a plus size woman. Nothing better available anywhere in my opinion.

These are very absorbent and work great however after the first wetting they begin to have a very noticeable smell. I’m able to smell it so I always feel like people are going to notice the smell when they come up close.

Comfortable for but not very absorbent for nighttime use. M3 is good but was trying to save some money by cutting back to M1, but just caused myself a wet bed instead.

I purchased these for a relative who wanted the ease of a pull-up but had a leakage problem with most other products. This was hands-down the BEST product of all of them. Don't be misled by the note that the "Air Plus" are the least absorbant of the Abri-Flex line; that is relative! They are superbly absorbant and don't have the leaks at the borders that other brands had. We tried them all. We also tried the Abri-Flex Extra and they were good but they were a little bit much for daytime use; these were a tad more comfortable. They worked well for diarrhea as well as urinary incontinence and made it much easier for going out and about without risking embarrassment. Ten stars if we could.

I buy these every time and will not go back to any other brief. I have used Depends for my mom, the brands they sell at the medical supply stores-Tranquility, Teena, store brands and even Molina. None of them work like Abeena and I won't buy any other brand. My mom was in the hospital for a UTI and I brought the overnight diaper as well as these pull-ons. When I went to pick her up the next morning, they has used one of their thin blue overnight diapers. We live about 7 minutes away but the diaper leaked...I use these for her daily wear and the overnight ones only at night. (She takes some medication that causes frequent urination). If you don't need heavy night coverage these will work at night also. They are more expensive but I never worry about my mom having an accident. I never need a liner-to me needing a liner means the brief doesn't absorb enough-and my mom never feels like the brief is wet. Worth every penny for comfort, ease of mind and my mom has never complained about these.

This review is related to the quantity of the item shipped not the product its self. Item description lists 18lbs -- indicating an appropriate weight (and cost) for a case of these items. When I ordered this item, I received 1 package weighing less than 2lbs. The product itself is very good, but certainly not worth paying case price for a single package.

I tried reviewing this in the third person, but I kept making mistakes. I am coming out on Amazon and admitting I have a bladder control problem. I figure readers need to know what a user thinks, so I am associating this review with my name and am happy to take questions in the comments section. I am giving this product 5 stars because it is the best protection available in a pull-up for people who need the extra-large size (the Abri-Flex Extra level, which is more absorbant than Plus, is not made in size extra-large.) I have tried many other US-made pull-ups, and they all failed to absorb at a level I need. I was worried I was going to have to use breifs--which are diapers. Despite claims to being resealable, the side tapes on every brief I tried cannot actually be resealed after I unseal them to use the toilet. Moreover, briefs show through one's clothing, which is almost as embarassing as an accident itself. I recommend these pull-ups to anyone who does not want a brief but wants strong protection. I do have two criticisms despite my 5-star rating. One is that the pull-ups are not designed for men who hope to use the urinal in a public restroom. Men should give the Abena pads a try before resorting to Abena Abri-flex pull-ups. Abena should design a pull-up for men. The other criticism is that the more absorbant Abri-Flex Extra pull-ups are not available in size extra large. I know I need to lose weight, but denying me the very best in protection is not the motivator I need.

These are used by my very poorly mother in law, my wife and I order them for her, she has tried others but says none are as comfortable as these.

Very good fit well and very good for the price.
