Both charged as expected and powered my camera up fine. It's too early to tell how the batteries ...
This is more a review of SterlingTEK than the battery itself. I haven't had the battery long enough to really evaluate the performance, but due to the service I received from SterlingTEK I will definitely keep them in mind for my future battery needs. The original battery I received would not hold a charge. This is hardly the first battery I've bought that was defective on arrival. Defects happen. I had received an email from SterlingTEK after my order asking me to contact them if I had any problems, so I did. They immediately replied and informed me that no return was necessary for the defective battery and that they were sending me not only a replacement battery, but also a charger and a second battery. I received them today and everything seems to work as expected. I charged one battery in the SterlingTEK charger and the other in my Canon charger. Both charged as expected and powered my camera up fine. It's too early to tell how the batteries perform compared to the original Canon, but I have no doubt that if there are any problems, this company will make good on it.

Great Cheap Batteries
I bought a few of these as back ups for my Canon 6oD. They work, however sometimes, In my off-brand Battery Grip, I get an error message that says "one battery (Left) can not be read..Uue Anyway?" I click yes and it seems to work fine. Not sure if the issue is with the batteries or the Off-Brand Grip, but I think its the grip, so I am not holding it against this product. They work fine in the camera and have long life. I would recommend them.

High quality product
This is my second purchase of this battery. I ordered the first one as a backup for my camera for the obvious reason. I charged the battery and tested it with the 60D and everything works fine. Since it is a backup, I didn't used it for nearly 2 months before I needed it, I was surprised that for over 7 weeks of storage, the battery still holds its charge at 97% full per the 60D's reading! That is why I am buying a second one so I can use both in the battery grip. Two of these are still cheaper than one original battery.

Good Value
This is a very good battery for the price. It charged in the Canon charger in about the same length of time as the Canon battery that came with the camera. After both were in the camera grip and the grip attached to the camera, the camera immediately recognized and registered both batteries and reported both were 100% charged. In other words, this battery starts off appearing to be equal to the much more expensive Canon battery (more than twice the price.)The information included with the battery grip explains that the battery grip draws from both equally to feed the camera, so I should be able to monitor how the individual batteries are doing thanks to the "battery information" feature on the Canon 60d, something I have not been able to do with previous cameras. After a few months, I will update this review to report how this battery is doing in relation to the Canon battery, or sooner if it appears that something is amiss. But based on what I know now I question why anyone would pay double the price of this battery to buy one with the Canon label.

Good, but not perfect
I've had this battery for almost a year now. It's worked very well up until recently. I had no isues but oce I started using it with a Meike battery grip the camera hasn't been reading the battery info very well, and wouldn't even turn on at one point. It normally won't fluctuate charge measurements with use, while my OEM battery does. I hate to bring stars down, but it doesn't work completely as it should. Still a great battery for the price, and things like this really are flukes from what I can tell. However I can't imagine what would happen if it did this to me on the job. Considering an OEM battery next time I purchase or a different manufacturer.Good: Holds charge noticeably longer than OEM battery (in my experience). Great price. Good build quality.Bad: Inconsistent battery info readings. Very ocasional, almost none, malfunction. (only with battery grip in my experience).3 stars, though almost 4.

Best Batteries You Can Purchase
I have been a customer of SterlingTek since June, 2007. I bought a 2-pack of batteries for my Canon 20D. I am happy to report those batteries are still going just as strong as the day I bought them. My son now uses them in his Canon 40D camera. I have now used those same batteries through a Canon 20D and two Canon 40D's and they are still going.SterlingTek batteries last a WHOLE HELLUVA LOT longer than any OEM battery by any manufacturer. As stated above, my son is still using batteries purchased in June, 2007 and they are still as strong as ever and last FOREVER!!! when fully charged. These batteries for the Canon 60D appear to be just as good as any of the other SterlingTek batteries I have purchased. Yes, between my son and I we have a total of seven Canon camera bodies and six of the seven camera bodies run on SterlingTek batteries. SterlingTek doesn't make batteries for the Canon 1Ds Mark II otherwise it would be all seven camera bodies running on SterlingTek.You will NEVER EVER regret purchasing from SterlingTek. They are the most AWESOME of companies in the world.

Works perfectly in camera, charging with OEM charger can be a crap shoot though...
Bought this product with some hesitation after reading some reviews about the product not working as advertised but in my experience with it, the battery works great! Lasts just as long, if not longer, than the OEM battery. Charging with the OEM battery charger is sketchy at best and may not work at all. The seller sent me a coupon code to get a free charger that would charge the battery properly, but I am forced to pay shipping and handling for their mistake, i don't think that's quite fair but whatever....
