These shoes have only the minimum thickness thick soles on them . Walking on gravel with stones is difficult, a challenge to be honest. At these prices, about 120.00, the build of the soles should be thicker. Their competition is GDEFY shoes at about 150.00, though the 1st pair are discounted. GDEFY shoes have a much better sole on them. Now that I have tried them both, I would NOT buy the Ortho feet shoes a second time.have

Great shoes! For the first few days, I was on the fence because they felt weird on my feet. A week later I loathe wearing any of my other shoes. Great support where it’s needed and very comfortable wearing them all day. I’m 6’5” and “not thin” so good shoes are a rare find. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend. If I had to nit pick one thing, it would be the red accents. I’m not a fan, but there weren’t any other options for this particular shoe...

These are a good, solid, well-made shoe but they are not as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. My biggest complaint as far as the comfort levels go has to do with the stiffness of the tongue. It's quite stiff and pokes rather uncomfortably into the fold of your ankle. The side edges of the shoe that run along your ankle are also quite stiff. Maybe these things will loosen up with wear. This was an expensive shoe so I was hoping for something more comfortable. The fit was as expected and the shoes seem to have good arch support. I didn't even need to use either of the supplied inserts.

This is a very well made shoe. But if you think it’s going to fix your feet problems think again. Go to a doctor to find out why your feet hurt before you start wasting money.As I said these shoes are made very well. But that doesn’t mean they are worth $120. 00That’s a lot money to dish out. They did not help any of my problems with my feet. Maybe if I wore these 10 years ago my feet would not be so bad now. I took all the insoles out of the these shoes and put mine in and it was much better. It’s all about foot support with shoe support. You need both. The bottom line is I like the shoe and not the insole inserts.

This is a lightweight, stylish, comfortable shoe with a toe box that is roomy enough to accommodate bunions and other sensitive foot conditions. I ordered these for my brother who has Type 2 diabetes and problem feet. He was pleased with the fit offered by his regular size without using any of the additional insoles provided. He commented that the generous toe box put no pressure on his bunion and hammer toes. These are the best looking orthopedic / athletic shoe that I have seen on the market!

This is an over priced standard shoe. There's little to no padding, no arch support, and nothing to help with plantar fasciitis or to help keep your ankles straight. My feet have hurt worse in the past month than they ever have. I now have to spend more money to buy insoles so my feet stop locking up while wearing these shoes.

My husband has flat feet and now additionally spinal stenosis. After trying OrthoFeet slippers, he ordered shoes. Bottom line — his feet don’t hurt! Still has back problems but these shoes have brought (us both!) great relief.
