Amazing, such a good projector.
This is such a good projector it's totally changed how I watch content. While it does struggle with daylight i think the price more than makes up for that. While the speaker lacks some definition it's loud enough for most rooms. The bluetooth tends to go out of sync but it works perfectly using a wired connection to my Bluetooth speaker. The picture is very clear and the colours are Bright. Overall it's not perfect but for £90 it's 1080p native, looks amazing and a hard wired speaker fixes the Bluetooth and sound quality issues. Will definitely be recommending to friends.

Decent display on a budget
Wasn't expecting to be blown away but its not too bad. Pretty basic and don't think its truly 4k but at the pricepoint its fine for watching films and stuff. I wish they would pack a longer power lead with these things. Its always a problem. I would recommend this if you are on a budget or for watching films. Gaming is ok but basically what you would expect for a cheap projector

Not a Keeper, good try.
Date: Saturday, 05 March 2022Time: 8:34 PMNegative FACTS:1. The L23 required at least 12 hours for motor to stop emitting a metal like smell. Good ventilation is essential. I put this down to it being brand new, however, not impressed, I am not accustomed to my technology gadgets ever requiring a “burn in” phase or producing a solder like smell.2. The L23 DB POWER FAN-constant-running noise is +23 decibels to your room before being turned on, by way of comparison, Microsoft x-box digital S games console was +10 decibels. Anything above 10 decibels, will disturb and distract, and will require either speaker volume to mask the sound, or the use of headphones.3. Instantly when the L23 is powered on, it blows out hot air, this is the most shocking annoyance, it feels its been fitted with a hair dryer. The light being emitted is constant, to produce the ‘300” display’, regardless what size you use.4. No hard power off button switch.5. No wifi off option or setting display.6. Slight hue noticeable during day.7. As with all projectors, without Smart Chips, best position is right in the centre. This can limit room use.Lots of Positives:1. Affordable Value £122.38, without any gimmick coupon or lightening fluctuations.2. Compact size.3. 2 strap, case.4. Faultless packing, with: Projector, UK Main plug to C7 power lead end, lens cover, remote, AV lead, 1x HDMI cable, elevation screw, case, (all in branded box, and then amazon bagged).5. Tested to 110” no loss of colour or distortion to picture or videos, in the dark. [out of wall space to test further].6. Day time 60”, Microsoft Word Document use (no strain: size 16, Verdana font), see picture TBA.7. 110” screen size, at Display Resolution: 1920X1080, Faultless gaming experience on Xbox Digital S, 60hz playing Just Cause 3 in the dark. 60” display during day no strain.8. Powerful speakers, advertised at 3w.9. Front and back responsive IR sensors.10. Very soft square tactile rubber controls that flash when starting, and light up green when running, and stay red on standby.11. Marked as 75 Watts Max, less than other brands.12. 2 hdmis, quick switch game and laptop connections, at a click of a remote.13. Peripherals e.g USB at side, easy access.14. Zoom 75-100%, so 60” down to 43” for text use at click of a remote.15. Projector preferred to use of any UHD/4k mirror TV like Samsung 7020 kxxu.ConclusionThe L23 DBPower has the potential to be a very capable, functional, powerful, and affordable machine and can be used for day and night, and office and entertainment use, that arrived with all components in an excellent case. If like I this is your first experience of DLP projectors then I can recommend - a try only, as not a time waster toy, sadly noy a keeper. The annoyance, because I like the projector a lot, but it reduces full enjoyment, is that it CAN be made more electricity efficient blowing less hot air and producing less fan noise, not hard by increasing functionality to dim bulbs, turn off wifi, control wattage depending on your need of screen size and environment. CAUTION: Do NOT place in any out house without proper building planning control for office use.Result: The hot air and fan noise, were too great to ignore and keep, can also be dangerous too in a heat wave. Therefore awaiting a return via Hermes tomorrow, at time of publishing review on at 3:52pm, on Friday the 11th of March 2022. Purchased a newer 5G Energon Artlii 2 hoping to address these problems however at £249.99 only reduced to 17db sound problem and still produced heat although less. Sadly projector tech on amazon a GAMBLE, avoid headache.

Favourite purchase so far
Brought this product as it had good reviews. It’s great and I don’t know what others are talking about saying it’s loud, mine is not loud at all and works with my fire stick In the tent using hotspot. Perfect for camping and outdoors defo a great purchase would defo recommend. Don’t really have anything bad to say about it at all

Really bright and great quality
It's a bit daunting choosing a projector, but this one really is excellent with a bright and sharp 1080p picture that can be seen in a room that isn't completely dark and plenty of functionality. Before I got it, I hadn't realised that you can simply plug a Chromecast into one of the 2 HDMI ports and start casting Netflix, etc. - even a browser tab from a computer. The tiny remote works even when pointing away from the projector, i.e. pointed towards the surface you're projecting onto. The USB port allows video files to be played easily and the audio port means I don't have to rely on a Bluetooth speaker (which is okay but interferes with Wi-Fi). The fan is moderately loud but not excessively so. The menu system is clunky but works perfectly well. It's a bit annoying that it constantly forgets to enable subtitles... but the fact that I can project a video with subtitles right across the width of my 3 wardrobes (from the back of the room) is pretty amazing to begin with!

Great projector in dim light
I love this projector. It is really easy to setup for both sound and vision. However, you will need a proper screen to see images acceptably and you will need to block out any sunlight. Unlike a television screen, a projector such as this is severely impacted by ambient light. But when used in a room with black-out curtains, or at night, it is absolutely superb! The fact that it also picks up the computer audio without any direct setting changes is also really great. At this price, this is an amazing item, but you do need to buy a decent screen to project on to. I also wouldn't go above 60" as brightness drops off rapidly beyond this. But at 60" it is superb and you would have to pay 4 times the price of this projector and screen to get a cheap (probably bad) 60" television.
