Perfect fix
I tried a couple new china carbs and i had mega problems so as a last resort in purchased this carb and I was skeptical it would work . i want through everything before installing any of these carbs timeing points plugs wires coil and so on nothing worked until this carb it ran like a clock right out of the box .a minor adjusting and finally I was smiling again. Don't buy the china carbs .

Excellent OEM replacement but No Gasket!
Excellent OEM replacement but No Gasket!It ran lean out of the box made a little richer +/- 3/4 turn on each screw and that was that on my stock 1970 standard Beetle. Nice smooth acceleration. Be sure to buy a gasket and non silicone sealant.
