I surprised my Gen X boyfriend with this - overjoyed is an understatement! He grew up in a home where his dad often had this in the bathroom and he remembers the old ads for it and everything. I was so surprised to see that it's being made again, so gifted him with this. It's been about 8 months now since I bought it, and at first a part of me thought it might just be a novelty thing, as he doesn't really wear aftershave or men's perfumes, but he still is delighted every time he sprays this! It's a lovely fresh, citrusty scent perfect for the summer. Especially if you know a guy who has some nostalgia about this, it is so, so worth it!

Bought this as a reminder of my youth and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the fragrance is. It is has a strong aroma so no need to overdue it and it is long lasting. Good value for money. Would definitely order again.

I’ve bought retro stuff before that claims to smell the same. This does and brings back memories of happy childhood memories. As a kid back then I couldn’t afford the aftershave. I bought the orange bar of soap in a black case and talc from the cheap shop which smelled so cool and this does too. I echo the comments that it is a brut like musk smell which I loved too from the 80s. This seems to last longer.

I was browsing Amazon, looking for a new aftershave as my regular one is no longer available. I spotted this one and instantly remembered it from over 60 years ago when I was a teenager and it first appeared in adverts on TV. I remembered that I used it for a while until one girlfriend said she did not like it so that was that. I did not realise that it was still made and, as years have added enchantment to the view it's not as good as I used to think. Of course, I had a good sniffer in those days but not so much now so now I find it bland and uninspiring. My wife agrees so I guess I will not continue using it. We're all different to maybe someone else might think it's the bee's knees.
