It's a bandana and it works. Give it a vinegar bath to set the dye though.
It's a bandana. It did come over-dyed and as I washed it and wrung it out in the sink, water was pink. After a few seconds of that, I dropped it in a vinegar bath for 30 minutes and it was fine after that. It is thin, like every other bandana I've ever seen. But it's perfectly functional. Dimensions were pretty spot on. I measured mine at 21" x 22" which is perfectly acceptable to me (advertised as 22" x 22" and sewing is not an exact science). One negative -- besides the over dying which is standard on these things: It is made in the USA, and that is good. But I don't see, feel or notice a quality difference in either the stitching of the edges or the quality of the fabric or the dye between it and Chinese-manufactured bandanas on sale for $1 at my local big box store. Look: Bandanas are not unique items. I get it. Expecting more from one than from another is probably a stretch, as they are known for their "sameness." And in that regard, this is a perfectly fine bandana. I just find that it doesn't stand out, apart or above any others mass produced in other countries.

The funny thing is that the used ones were in every ...
These are good-looking bandanas, with both sides having the printed design. I ordered a few in different colors, and all of them looked uniform. Also, I just finished washing them recently, and noticed that the color(s) did NOT fade. In addition, the threads did NOT appear to be unravelling, as some others I had purchased in the past. There is one little thing, though. Maybe it's just me, but after purchasing them, I just so happened to have stopped at my local thrift store and saw that they had several used bandanas for sale. I purchased every single one of them (about 5-6) for $1 each. The funny thing is that the used ones were in every bit of good condition as the new ones I had just washed. Why am I writing this? Before spending money on this item, check out your local thrift stores. If you find none, then YES, I do recommend buying this particular bandana. The quality is very good. No immediate fading or loose threads after washing.

Stop looking. This is the one.
Well, you can save a couple of bucks a piece and get a cheaper bandanna, but the others always seem to be 100% annoying junk. Chinese made, seams fall apart after one wash, shrink in weird ways, crinkle up, feel uncomfortable. These are great bandannas! Worth the extra couple of dollars. Threw them in the wash.. came out fine. Nice, thick bandanna material. Good print on both sides. Don't fall apart. Edges are well stitched. Vibrant colors. Hold up well. Comfortable.I have a couple of old, awesome bandannas. I have no idea where they came from. I have a bunch of newer junk, cr*ppy bandannas that are horrible. And, now I have these. They are awesome.Learn from mine and other's mistakes. Just get these. They are well worth it.Update: These are "Have-a-Hank" brand bandanas. They are great quality. I've now seen them in stores and on Amazon.

Deep colours, nice pattern, and tested negative for lead contamination
One of the only red bandanas on Amazon that isn't the same cheap Chinese-made junk with warnings of lead dye. Dozens of sellers on Amazon are all selling the same imported red Chinese bandanas (you can tell because the pattern has straight edges on the insides and outsides, instead of the more ornate interior pattern that these Hav-A-Hank bandanas have), and this is the only one I've found to be USA-made. Spot-tested one of these for lead contamination and it showed a negative result, so I'm happy.Good quality, deep even dye colours and attractive pattern (on both sides, indistinguishable), and great price (J Crew sells this same brand for much more). A bit stiff out of the package, but seems to soften up after washing and with some use. And now that I know it's likely not lead-contaminated like the Chinese imported red bandanas on here, I'll be buying more.

Thumbs up
Its a nice sized bandana. Its not sheer like other ones. Its good at absorbing spills. I wash my bandanas by hand just some soap and water then let them dry, works fine. But it seems from other reviews that it doesn't fray after putting it through the washing machine -- good to know. The color is still bright. The only draw back I'm getting is that the male members of my family are too interested in my yellow one. To remedy this, I was planing on buying a set of the six in the color light pink to deter from them getting "misplaced." Even though I like the other bright colors like the light blue, light green.

Quality is amazing, absolutely worth the money.
This is a high quality bandana. I bought the green and love it. I instantly noticed the material is much more durable than the cheap Chinese bandanas and the stitching is fantastic. The color does not bleed with washing. I've also noticed that it hasn't shrunk or stretched. It arrives somewhat stiff but just wash it immediately and it gets softer. Much easier to fold than the cheaper bandanas too. The price is the best I could find online and it arrived on the earliest possible date they projected. Absolutely worth a couple bucks more for the quality of this bandana. Will buy many more. No need to look for another brand or seller.

Quality ok, not great
I purchased several brands and types of bandanas from Amazon. These were not as nice as the Zanheadgear or Rothco bandanas I ordered. First the edges are simply serged instead of folded over and stiched. The serging has a tendency to unravel at the corners and after one wash I am already seeing some minor fraying. Second the fabric is stiff and has a cheaper feel, though it is a bit thicker than some of the others. Third the pattern is not as nicely printed as some of the others. I don't doubt that these are much better quality than the cheap multi-pack variety bandanas you find at the low end price, but for the same price I found others that were much better and will not order more of these.

Good:color, size, feel, USA, but a bit thin
4 Stars, I like it. Its made in USA. I ordered the light blue and it looks like the pic online. No surprises. I was a bit disappointed with the thinness of a five buck USA hank. I can buy pillow cases for less that gave more. I did wash it once to check out the damage and it came out fine. Might hold its shape and color which is rare today. They mail pretty quickly which was great.
