Would not purchase these again
Someone advised us to purchase these for our bathroom lights. These really brightened up the area. Can't believe how cool to the touch these stay after lit. We haven't had them long enough to verify their longevity.UPDATE. After 19 months two of these bulbs have failed. They have a 2 year warranty but There is no info on the package as to how to contact the manufacturer, so the warranty is useless.

They work well...until they don't
I bought these to replace all of the bulbs in my house over the course of the last year or so. They work great and put off a good amount of light without all the heat from an incandescent bulb. I was about to write a 5-star review, but unfortunately about half of the bulbs I've purchased have started flickering/flashing or running dim (like 1% of the light they should be putting out), so I have had to keep ordering them. Thank goodness Amazon has their Amazon Basic LED bulbs, because I will NOT be purchasing these again. It's a shame, because I really liked them at first.

RRRRIP OFFF!!!!
They work as they should for roughly 3-6 months until they begin to flicker constantly for a few weeks until they just stop working. I bought (2) late December 2016. Both were installed at the same time in the maser bathroom. One flickered & died March 2017. I figured it was a factory defect. I accepted it since I know that's just going to happen sometimes. But then the other just did the same exact thing this month (June 2017). Nope, nope nope. Never again. Absolute ripoff. KEEP ON A LOOKIN' FOLKS!

Very bright, but quality lights
These are BRIGHT, almost overly bright for my taste. If you're putting them somewhere you sit near, you may want to reconsider something a little less intense. Combined with the fact that they aren't designed for dimming makes these really only good for places you really want to light up.

Excellent Energy Efficient Bulbs.
First time using these light bulbs. I have been pleasantly surprised. I finally used the last of the old bulbs, so this was my first experience with energy efficient LED bulbs. The lighting is perfect for the living room. Looking forward to trying out the cool light bulb as well.

Rate of failure is too high to recommend
I'm collecting a nice little pile of prematurely dead LED bulbs. I purchased over two years ago and had been replacing in our lamps as our old CFLs died, the most recent failure died after being plugged in for less than a year. As others have noted, they are nice and bright but the rate of failure is too high!

Led Light Bulbs for Home or Commercial 60 Watt Equivalent Apple Lamp Shatter Proof
we had used the Led Shatter resistant Apple Bulbs for a cafe to comply with City Heath Codes over a serving area the light is great and is equal to a 75 watt lamp these are great for restaurants.

Premature failure
Had three begin blinking and then fail within 20 months, no info on how to get warranty replacements. All the other LED bulbs I installed around the same time are working fine. The vents put off quite a bit of heat, the bulb itself stays cool though.
