I would recommend upgrading to the Big Red if you anticipate it ...
Accurate and lightweight. I do question the integrity of the design if it was to get knocked over one too many times. I would recommend upgrading to the Big Red if you anticipate it getting more abuse than normal, or other guys using it and not taking as good care of it as you would.

my level arrived bent
I ordered this level and it arrived completely bent. The packaging was horrible so I'm not surprised the level was bent. I'm sure sola makes good levels but the question is whether or not the level will make it to you through amazon in working condition.

Great level for daily use if treated with care
This is an aluminum level so we treat it carefully. But, it stands up to use in the field. We mainly use it to set the elevations of street sidewalk forms and it sees daily use. It remains straight, accurate, and the bubble is easy to read. We have even used it ina pinch as a straightedge for concrete.
