The Incal

Nice over sized edition of the si-fi classic with a relatively high price tag. As this is a numbered edition (limited to 1550 copies), I think the price is justified. The thick matt paper-stock is excellent choice for this book. In those over sized pages you can enjoy each & every details of Möbius’ exquisite artwork.The bonus section is short but excellent. There is an additional 16 page Möbius story which was not published anywhere previously. So that is a real treat for Mobius fans. But there is no preface or editorial article in this edition.Overall a very satisfying addition to my Library.

I was nervous about ordering such a prized book without seeing it in person, but the gamble was totally worth it. The packaging left a lot to be desired, and my heart raced as I slowly cut into the flimsy packaging. All in all the book was in near perfect condition, 9.5/10, with an ever-so-slight "ding" on one of the slipcase corners. To be fair, this ding could have happened at any point from the printers to my door and it doesn't detract from the experience of owning this book.I was also very curious to learn what edition number I would get, and to my pleasant surprise, I was awarded #1500, which complements my mild ocd nicely.The book itself is stunning. Paper stock, printing and colour, build quality, the works. I've never owned my own copy of The Incal and deliberately held out for this very "absolute" version. It is simply one of the best editions ever printed and now sold out, unfortunately. If you manage to find a copy, grab it while you can to pass down generations.

This book arrived with impacted edges on the cardboard case the book is kept in.The book and case are very high quality and as my fist comic book ever I want every book to be this quality level.The book is big about 25% larger than a typical textbook. The book has a high quality cardboard case it slides into which increases the size even more.The pages seem like they are using 4x thickness paper. Each page of the comic book has about a 2 inch white border where the page space is not used.The book has a distinct quality feel.The story is epic and I enjoyed it greatly. I also got this book because the story and art inspired so much more sci-fi and its a monument to the genre.That said since this is my first comic book I felt that the story in places was too rushed. Stuff happens, hero’s join up and you expect a bit more dialog to sort out certain issues with the characters that ends up being skipped over. Though this might be an issue with all comic books.

Gorgeous book!! Totally worth the price. Was going to get the regular hardcover but because this is one of the greatest comics ever written, I figured I would go with the limited edition. Only 1550 copies printed!!

The book and the casing is amazing, just don't buy it on crapmazon unless you want to recieve a 125$ book with damaged corners.

this was a christmas gift for my son. He thought it would be a challange for me to get it for him because it was out of print. Amazon.ca was amazing they gave me the chance to pre order and then kept me up to date on the states of the book. needles to say my son was both thrilled and amazed to get this book for christmas.
