Vela ProCover Lab Notebook / 8.5 x 11 / 168 pages / ProGrid

I normally hate writing reviews, i an too busy to sit down to write more than a line or two for anything I buy online, but I had to make an exception for this notebook; I have been looking for a good set of notebooks that I can use both in the lab and in my personal life and I have finally found them! This notebook has a table of contents, seems silly to mosh people, but invaluable in settings where you need to know where your notes on a subject are IMMEDIATELY, not 10-20 minutes from now. No bleed through and allows for fast drying using a uniball signo 207 micro, no minor achievement. The binding is excellent and the paper is top quality, both heavy and acid free. My immediate boss saw these notebooks and is trying to get out of our current contract to purchase these; we pay well over $45 a notebook for our current "lab grade" notebooks and they are not nearly as nice as these! On a side note, these do lay flat on a copier/scanner, so copying is easy.

This is a good choice for a hard-bound laboratory notebook. The pages are numbered, and there are "continued from" and "continued to" boxes to allow you to enter data from multiple projects at the same time. The paper is lovely: a ball point pen writes very well on it. The graph paper lines are visible enough to be useful, but not so dark as to overwhelm your writing. I love writing in my notebook, so I'm very picky about them, and I approve of this one.

I'm using this as a bullet journal for 2016. I've always been a fan of grid layout because I build things and can make sketches and plans right in my journal. Going to see how it works for me this year. It's a little weird not having a full bleed in the grid, but I like the heavy paper stock and "continued on page..."

This was a gift for someone who likes to draft and create things and he loves the table of contents and the gridded paper.The grids are standard 1/2 cm or in (I don't remember which), and the pages have title and date lines.He uses it for brainstorming all of his projects and as a planner / to do list.

Great lab notebook for a very reasonable price. My students like having something taht feels professional and I like being able to afford to give them all the same notebook. The binding is sturdy.

Thoughful page design, nice crisp light blue lines. Excellent for the project manager or techie doing development work and who doesn't like the computer.

Excellent lab notebook - stands up to chemical spills, etc. I recommend this to any serious researcher.

I use this for my graduate research. It's perfect for the application. Don't worry about the price, it's not wise to skimp on the tools of your trade. You will not be disappointed with this purchase
