Green Bulk's Dried Berries-Dried Strawberries imported from Thailand, 2.2 lb

Shipment arrived quickly, I had dried strawberries to add to my morning oatmeal - I was the only guy on the FOB in Afghanistan with strawberries in my oatmeal!

These are good but a little on the sweet side. I like to throw a handful in my berry smoothies.

Obviously OLD and Hard as rocks!I anxiously awaited the delivery of this treat for myself, only to get the most INEXCUSABLY disgusting and obviously VERY OLD bag that any packer could feel was not fresh and was hard, like little hard pebbles all clumped into this huge bag with nothing succulent and chewy here, THEY WERE ALL too hard to chew. But these were beyond shameful; like Green Bulk was trying to unload very old product. Ugghhhh!!!! Don't waste your money on anything from this irresponsible vendor.Try to get the ones supplied by Nuts.com. They are the best ones.

They were sugared where I was expecting just dried with no additive such as sugar..and a few,,,, not many,, were molded flavored with is natural in strawberries since they have a short shelf life. but should be gone through before they are served. All in all a decent product as shown by my rating of ***

Like another reader, I ordered this to eat in my oatmeal during my deployment in Afghanistan. It arrived in great condition and was very tasty!

Really like these because they're not terrible sweet like some candied strawberries sold as dried fruit.

If you are looking for real dried strawberries, don't buy these, they are not. These taste like fruit snacks, expensive fruit snacks. I added a comparison photo: this product (on the left) is bright red with a translucent quality to it, some kind of whitish powder imitates seeds. Real dried strawberries I purchased locally (on the right) are much darker and no translucency can be observed.

I wish I could have an endless supply of these! So juicy and sweet. Perfect to snack on at any time of day.
