Look...I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon. And I had high hopes for this product. And when I got it...I set it up exactly as instructed. But, all I get is that it doesn't work. No service. Great...back to two phones. If the seller can tell me how to get this damn thing to go from "No Service" to working, I will revise this review...but for now, I would say, stay the HECK AWAY! This product bites. Or, at least this product from this supplier...

Só a bad review but I actually had no issues. I used a SIM card from ATT in my locked iPhone 6 and a SIM card from TMobile and worked fine.Took me some learning on making sure the adapter was connected to my phone via Bluetooth, but after I sorted the Bluetooth part averything worked. Would have been faster if I read instruction instead of just trying things :)I also tried with a Sim Card of another country and also worked.Things I wished it had but it doesn't: when on international trip I wish I could use the adapter for the data part, since this way I would be able to turn off roaming from SIM card in my phone and use the one from the adapter (something like a personal wifi connection with the SIM card inside of it); but for phone use is perfect, and I can always put my home SIM card in adapter and the one from country I am visiting in my phone as a workaround the data part.I am also not sure if you have a non SIM card phone carrier, if the adaprter would work due to different technology, but since it is a Bluetooth connection I think it will.Last the most important thing is to learn how to connect adapter to phone via Bluetooth to avoid frustration.

This product didn't work AT ALL. I have tried SIM cards from all 6 of the major Canadian providers (Rogers, Fido, Bell, Virgin, Telus, and even Wind/Freedom) and NONE of them worked! The SIM cards from Bell, Virgin, and Telus (which I found to be slightly thicker than the others) each got stuck inside of the device when trying to eject the SIM card tray! Horrible experience and I'm severely disappointed in this product as I had such high hopes, which have now all been crushed... :-( And just to avoid repeat questions, I'll just point out the following about my tests: (1) the correct size SIM cards were used (2) each SIM was active on a post-paid plan with data (3) there was no signs of damage to the packaging when delivered (4) the device was handled with care and never got dropped or wet

Purchased this shortly after switching to an iPhone from an android device that held up to 2 sim cards. The adapter is good, bluetooth connection is fantastic but it has very limited capabilities.I had 2 sim cards for different purposes: the first was basic calling/texting and social media, etc. and the second was solely for data use (more cost-effective for me than getting one plan with everything). While I would've liked to use the former as my default sim, meaning inside my iPhone's slot, it had to be the reverse, because the adapter cannot hotspot the data over to my phone; therefore, the data sim sat in the iPhone while my other sim sat in the adapter.After installing the app, it shows you tabs for making calls and text conversations. However, within the text conversations tab, you cannot receive nor retrieve MMS (photos/videos) that others may send you. Also, you must always have the adapter with you, otherwise, you could miss receiving the notification that you have an incoming call from the app; or, if it is just a little far away, the connection would be very weak, thus rendering the call quality unclear.You're better off with 2 phones like I decided after all, especially if you're someone who wants to maximize use out of both sim cards.
