Love the designs of jewelry in this book. Easy to understand. Lots of information. It's A keeper to refer back to. Only thing I notice was not a lot of designs. Would have preferred it to be a bigger book. But I do enjoy this book.

Great designs by a fabulous teacher. I really enjoyed the projects and inspirations. It all goes great with her online class at Craftsy.com too... she teaches you firsthand how to make most of the stitches and answers questions about these designs and the ones from her class. Love her!

I love this book! The pictures are great and the instructions were exact and precise. The projects turned out just like the pictures. The finished product looks great. They have become my go gifts for my favorite ladies.

This would be a good book from which to learn to make shapes. I don't necessarily think I would wear some of this jewelry, but the shapes are interesting and instructive. Including beads is a useful touch as well. I took Marilee's class on Craftsy and she explained the "folded join", a technique I had been searching for in several books. The video did show this join, but not very well. (The photos in the video often did not show things very well, I thought. Either her hands were covered from view, or in shadow, or the camera was moving around and missed the hands entirely, etc.) I did get some idea of how to do it, but could use some clearer instructions.Marilee knows what she's doing, but her delivery is very quiet and un-animated and somewhat slow in the video.

In going over this book I am salivating to get started. I read through the book instructions and it looks very easy to tat. This is going to be so much fun. I am getting everything together to start. Get this book you all will make fantastic jewelry and use your imagination in making these in multi colored threads.

this book has 11 designs of various levels of competence. the designs are easy to read and work up quickly. many of the projects can be worked on needle tatting, which is a plus, because there are very few jewelry tatting patterns available. the photos of the project in progress are very helpful. i enjoyed the book and made several items. i hope that there will be more of this series printed.

This book has a good variety of projects. Some appear to be lengthy and others fairly quick and easy. I have never tried tatting and I would not recommend this book for a beginner relying soley on the printed instructions. I would advise anyone who wishes to learn tatting to order a book with a dvd to demonstrate the exact movements of the shuttle. If I had not purchased a dvd I think I would quickly have given tatting up.

yes I did find it a good book I am still in the early stages of relearning the craft soit was a little over my head but I will be using as I am know thank you

It's a great book but you cannot get the supplies like the type of thread used and tools etc here.

Great book and explanations, good layout, a mine of information, very glad to have added this book to my craft library.

Tante idee carine, spiegate in modo schematico ma abbastanza bene, anche se non si conosce perfettamente l'inglese è tutto molto comprensibile perchè spiegato con il numero dei nodi e non tutto testuale.
