Great for coffee storage!
I've been using these for a couple months now, I bought them for coffee storage and they work great. They came safely packaged in plastic and with styrofoam molds. So far I only use the middle and largest size, haven't found a use for the small one yet. Maybe cotton balls in the bathroom. The largest size easily holds a 12oz bag of ground coffee with room to spare. The middle size juuuuust fits the same amount give or take. I've found that different grinds fit differently in the middle size. My picture shows the mid size freshly filled with 12oz of a medium grind and it fits fine with a scoop (bought separately), while a finer grind takes up more space (more air in the mix maybe?). With the finer grind I can't quite fit the coffee plus the scoop in the canister until I use some of the coffee. The seal is nice and tight. When the canisters are empty I can hold them by the lid only and let gravity do its work and they stay sealed. When they are full I need two hands to open them. I can wiggle/turn the bamboo lids a little while they are sealed, so sometimes they don't sit pefectly aligned with the corners of the canisters. Despite this movement the silicone gasket keeps the seal nice and tight so it's not an issue just something to note. After about two months of use the silicone gaskets have bent/conformed to the canister, so when I washed them recently I flipped them to keep the seal tight. You can see the difference in the pictures, one is clearly flipped up. The left side is after 2 months of use and before flipping the gasket, and right side is after washing and flipping. The seal is definitely stronger again after flipping the. I also oiled the lids after washing which gave them a darker and richer color. Left side is before, right side is after oiling in the pictures. Always hand wash the bamboo lids, you WILL destroy them in the dishwasher. The color isn't a true fire engine type of red if that's what you're looking for. It's more a burnt or brick red but it's a nice color nonetheless and I think the product photos pretty accurately depict that. I actually liked the white canisters better but at the time of my purchase the red ones were a full $10 cheaper, so why not right? Coke can for red reference, picture taken with natural light (coke can is the mini size, don't let the size confuse your perspective and canisters shown are the large and mid size). No complaints so far, solid product, would reccommend.

Lids are too loose for broad use
I really wanted to like these. The body material is thick and tough. It's clearly different from any plastic I've seen, but looking at them I can't tell that they contain bamboo. They have an attractive matte finish and I like the color. The bamboo lids are heavy, sturdy, and attractive. I love that they're made from non-toxic bamboo and silicone. But the canisters are not airtight. The silicone gasket puckers on both sides of each corner, creating eight small airholes. I wouldn't use these for anything air-sensitive like coffee or flour. The lids don't fit tightly, and they get worse with use: the gaskets quickly stretch at the corners and stick out so that it's hard to push the lids fully down. I had to trim mine with scissors. So I wouldn't use the canisters for anything that would make a mess if spilled; no sugar or bulk sucralose. I'm using the canisters on my dining table for individually wrapped teabags and sucralose packets. They're fine for that. But the loose sealing makes them inadequate for most of what I keep in canisters.

It's orangish and dull. As for as function
I didn't pay attention to the disruption so I had no idea these were plastic. So that's my fault. No points taken away for that.1 thing I'm not a fan of is the color. It's not really red. It's orangish and dull. As for as function... they work... The design just isn't the best. But they will do for now

) They look great in our kitchen
We don't use these for coffee, sugar, etc. We use these to store different sizes of cookies! :)They look great in our kitchen. Made out of bamboo so they are eco friendly.I'd also be interested when bento size boxes are available.

Love these, Great Seals, Look great, Easy to Clean. Quality!
Love these, my kitchen is in oranges and these fit perfectly. I actually store my 3 types of 3 dry cat food in them, great size, strong seal and great quality. Would highly suggest them for any countertop and they look great also!

Too small for a big kitchen
They're too small for my needs. I was hasty in purchasing these and didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions. Rather than return them I will just gift them to someone else. If you have a small kitchen with limited counter space then these are probably fine.

Great buy
Perfect size for my needs. The seals are tight. The color is not as dark red as pictured (more of an orangish-red), but they still match nicely.

well made and attractive
Smaller than I expected, but very well made and attractive. While not practical for sugar and flour, they will work well for smaller volumes of dry storage like rice, grits, barley.
