Q: Is this reptile safe?

I see it advertised for pet use but do not know for sure....it is a high quality loose airy mix of small chips and fiber. As a growing medium it’s one of my favorite.

Q: So do I have to rinse this for plant soil mixture? It has salts plants dont like? I was thinking to break off dry & not wet it..

Before using you need to soak 24 hours, rinse til water runs clear. Trying to use dry will pull all moisture from plant/roots.

Q: Is this good for Ball pythons?

Yes, this is perfect. Make sure you water it down to make the bedding damp to provide humidity. Do this about once a week or needed as it dries out. Balls need 80% humidity.

Q: Can this be cut off for less ? I only need 8 of the 75 quart at a time ? I hope i dont have to do it all . If i do how can i store the unused portion

I suppose you could but its compressed and stuck together pretty tight. When i use mine I cut the top off, add over a gallon of warm water and let it sit inside a 64 qt tote for a while. I then cut the plastic off and break it apart. If you drill holes in the lid so air can get to it so it wont mold you could just store it in that. Or uncovered, if you don't have to worry about a cat using it as a litterbox like I do. 🙄
