Awesome performance, just wish they had bluetooth
These are comfortable, compact, lightweight, and they function really well.Really great for hunting as you can have your muffs on (ready to shoot) while still hearing your surroundings. In fact they can augment your surroundings by boosting the volume to your ears! Awesome! They are just a little outdated, not having bluetooth. If they had bluetooth then they would also be great for doing work around the house.

Great product if you enjoy being annoyed to death
The media could not be loaded. To start I would like to say that I wanted very much to like this product and to give it a good review but I simply can't. I loved the idea of having a pair of these rugged and durable shooting earmuffs to use as everyday headphones because I thought It was a cool idea but the number of issues with practicality that I have faced have been positively maddening. The connectivity issues I have with these are endless. When trying to connect these headphones to a device they do the most random and unpredictable behaviors. It will sound a beep through the headphones as if it connected but display on the phone/device that it is still trying to connect, then when it eventually connects it often only partially connects. Typically on my device when it is fully connected it will say "active, 100% battery" but sometimes it will only say "active" or "100% battery" and then randomly disconnect. Below I attached a screen recorded video of me attempting to get these things to connect for a solid 9 minutes without any success until the very end.If you can put up with this, then that's good because I certainly can't.An important note is that these issues seemed to have worsened over the second half of its life as I have been using them, I have had them for about one year at this point and it is at its worst right now. It should also be noted that as of about two months ago these things had not sustained any damage or adverse treatment and we're still displaying the same issues. The video was taken right around the beginning of the two month period.Overall disappointed with how poorly these things obtain and maintain the connection they were designed to facilitate. There's always a part of me that thinks "you had one job" every time it screws up lol.

Better than walkers, I prefer the other Impact Sports
If you're confused the difference between these and the other Howard Leights I was to. To answer that. These have a chargeable lithium ion battery that uses a micro usb, has Bluetooth connectivity, no exterior plugs, and has a slower microphone refresh rate. The other set uses AAA batteries, has an aux plug in, and has a faster refresh rate. For just the range and maybe hunting, these will be fine. If you want to run comms, are doing anything tactical, and possibly for hunting as well then get the other set. As far as hunting both are good it's up to you what you want.As far as the headset itself it's a huge improvement over walkers. Sound isn't as loud but the stereo sound lets you tell where a sound is coming from and I feel like these are clearer than my walkers. As far as comfort, get the gel pads. If I were to order again I'd probably buy the other set but wouldn't be angry having this set again to.

Effective protection with a bonus
These have got to be the best I've had.... EVER. I'm buying a set for my friend so she can get rid of the sparkplug/skull screw cheapo ear protection.

Not worth it. Try something else.
Didn't last long and glitchy connection to phone. Also lots of static when hear through option. I got a size medium/adult large. It pinches my ears and makes them sore after an hour of wearing them. The battery doesn't hold a charge now. Seems to be good hearing protection. I have to suggest trying a different brand.

The best budget electronic headset out there
Love the Howard Leight Impact Sports. I've had my original set for about 5 years now, and they still work great. Even left them out on the rain one weekend, but somehow they still work. That was about 2 years ago.Sound quality is excellent. Have some friend that prefer the Walker Razors, so I tried them. No comparison. With the Impact Sports you can actually tell where the sound is coming from, and they sound natural. The Walkers, you can't tell the direction of the sound, and the sound it provides is mechanical, meaning it sounds like your are listening through a headset. The Impact Sports, the sound is so natural, I don't even notice I'm using a headset.Pro Tip: Buy the gel cups. You'll thank yourself.
