Great quality, stiff blade, straight cuts
I've used many standard hacksaws with wingnut tensioning. These are never tight enough to keep the blade from flexing during use, causing a non-straight cut. This hacksaw's tensioning mechanism is great and keeps the blade super stiff during use.

A Good Choice
Having carefully studied the saws for sale and the reviews I chose this one and I'm very pleased I did. It's only been used for one (slightly awkward) job so far and I had to get the feel of it. I could not be fault it. The blade is easy to remove and re-tension as I had to do for first use. There are no gimmicks, just a solid, sturdy saw which I feel will last well.

Qualitative et efficace !
J'en avais assez de ma vieille scie à métaux 1ier prix de 20 ans et celle de mon papa de plus de 40 ans était trop lourde avec un manque cruel d'ergonomie. Je voulais donc réinvestir mais pas dans de la camelote. J'ai longuement cherché avant de tomber sur celle-ci et renseignement pris sur le net je l'ai achetée.A l'arrivée la satisfaction est totale car la qualité est bien au rendez-vous.D'une taille idéale, elle est en plus d'un poids raisonnable, extrêmement maniable avec une bonne ergonomie et elle scie parfaitement bien avec une lame très bien tendue. Je l'ai utilisée entre autres pour ajuster aux dimensions de ma fenêtre une moustiquaire en alu avec volet coulissant …. Le changement de lame est aisé, ayant acheté en parallèle un lot de 3 lames de différentes dentures de même marque.C'est impeccable et je vous la recommande donc sans hésitation, à 18.25 € le rapport qualité prix étant satisfaisant. A bon entendeur, bon bricolage à tous :-))

Excellent hacksaw (but Eclipse blades much less so)
This is an excellent hacksaw, strong, well made and very comfortable to use.I regard it as the prefect price / performance point. Definitely superior to the basic "screw at far end" type.But I cannot see what can be so much better to justify twice the price.HOWEVER - I have now totally given up on Eclipse blades. Sheffield-made were superb, buts that's a long time ago now ! Barco are massively better in every way.I now have two of these hacksaws - 1 with 18tpi and 1 with 32tpi Barco blades.
