This book will NOT lead you in the right direction. The author is very confused. Personally, having experience with these teachings for a few years, I can say with certainty that they will lead you away from the true PATH of spiritual realization. Samael Aun Weor's doctrine of sex is a distortion of noble myths and divine symbols. He teaches that the basis of all world religions are sexual when they are not. The various phallic emblems found in religious iconography were changed from their original purity, and over the ages resulted eventually in sexual worship. His doctrine is the LITERAL interpretation of the union of the human soul with the Spiritual Soul, which has always been symbolized as a "holy union devoid of sin". Sensual -minded men have taken up this fact too literally; and, out of a wrong interpretation of this allegory has arisen cults( Samael Aun Weor's) that indulge in the most degrading practices.One can never attain to the heights of true SPIRITUAL Consciousness through PHYSICAL means. That, in the East has always been regarded as Black Magic. Hatha Yoga, which is the use of postures( including sexual ones), breathing exercises, etc., has always been warned against by the real Sages, Yogis, Rishis, and Mahatmas of all times as the path of ERROR. Man, as an embodied mind or consciousness is enslaved or freed through THOUGHT and THOUGHT alone. Not through physical postures whether those be sexual or not, will one reach a higher state of consciousness and being. Regarding Kundalini, it is said that it is a Force which can kill as easily as it can create(see "The Voice of the Silence" by H.P. Blavatsky). So, forcing it to "awake" through physical means like sex is to invite disaster. Beautiful Book! There is so much non-sense out there today about kundalini and the divine feminine. This, book, on the other hand is pure wisdom, light, and beauty. Samael Aun Weor writes from direct experience. All that he teaches is in line with the ancient Masters of all religions. He teaches chastity, love, and happiness unlike most of the writings these days on so called "tantra". In this elegant and precise book, Samael Aun Weor explains in a direct and rigorous way exactly WHAT the Kundalini is and HOW it may be awakened.So much confusion and misinformation has gathered around this topic. This book is like a breath of fresh air, clearing away cobwebs and dust. There is much information about the Kundalini and the Chakras (with a chapter devoted to each Chakra), as well as practical exercises for both single individuals and married couples.One of the things I admire most about this book is the author's integrity. He 'goes back to base' and states what all the religions have always said- that in order to harness the light, we need to sanctify ourselves. He has the decency to tell us this to our face, instead of saying (as some do) that the Kundalini can be woken by sleeping around or continuing in our bad behaviours.What I also found interesting was how the author at times uses western scripture to illuminate his points, showing that this ancient science is not only found in the Orient, but also in the sacred books of the west.Kundalini Yoga is a clear, practical, and concise treatise which is intensely geared towards direct personal experience. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in spirituality, and also to anyone who feels lost in the 'wilderness' of opinions and books that abound regarding the Kundalini/spiritual development.This addition also includes an excerpt from the Shiva Samhita (an important Hindu scripture), as well as an extensive glossary.

Simple where there is complexity in depth. This book, with its beautiful exercises and its profound insight into the Ancient Mysteries of life [understood in incredible depth by the venerable bodhisattva - Master Samael Aun Weor, whose wisdom of Kabbalah is invaluable and indispensable to anyone fortunate enough to pick up his books] will take you into places unheard of today in 'modern spirituality' which has lost its way and diverted itself away from the core teachings as taught by the Masters of the past.Contained in this book is an incredible, trecherous, extreme path to liberation [through sex, the CROSS], as taught by Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Quetzelquatl, etc.I highly recommend this book. As I highly recommend any of Samael Aun Weor's book. True wisdom! A key to open doors to spiritual understanding! No pseudo-spiritual wisdom here.

Very interesting book, especially, I found the personal accounts of awakenings fascinating. The teaching passages from kundalini masters were also very informative.

In spite of the small size of the book, its power is tremendous. Instead of reading about kundalini and its alleged dangers and the techniques which supposed to awaken this power (but in reality they don't), this book will take you right into practice of how to REALY AWAKEN that mysterious power which is called kundalini.People claim to have open chakras and some claim to be gurus and have wonderful intellectual knowledge about each and every chakra and its corresponding ability. But really, how many of them had a true personal experience of the things that they talk about. On the outside they may appear to be happy but in the inside they're desperate because they never had a true experience of the things that they read about or heard about.
