Advanced Remote Dog Training Shock Collar Best Results 3 Modes / Tone / Vibration / Shock Electric

I recently purchased the Astro Pro remote dog collar. What a life saver. Thank You! Since my purchase we have seen great results. I have a 70 lb. Treeing Walker Coonhound. We have a huge property and our Max loves to be outdoors. He becomes very hyper and loud when the stray cats and other neighborhood animals come around. His barking disrupts me and the neighbors both day and night.I use this training collar for keeping my Max in the yard as well as his barking under control. The range is great with a huge property like mine. I use the the vibration option on remote setting 10, this grabs his attention immediately and the barking will stop. I have occasionally used the static stock option on setting 5 when he is focused on the animals in sight and the vibration is not enough.Not only has the nuisance barking stopped but he no longer leaves the yard. YAY! The barking was so bad, at first my neighbors thought I found another home for him. I love the fact that I can easily switch from vibration to shock with just one press of the button. The color coding on the buttons also make it easy to distinguish one stimulation from the other. Wonderful training tool! You guys rock!!!

We recently bought a 4 month old Collie from the rescue shelter. She is the sweetest thing but we had problems with her jumping on people, barking excessively at people and running out the door when we opened it. We were so worried about her running out the door and getting hit by car that we decided we had to try a remote collar. My wife and I were against using these types of training methods but we felt it was the only option at this point.This remote collar has 4 modes, a vibrations mode, a shock mode, a light mode and a tone mode. After putting everything together and programming the remote and collar I tested it on myself. On the lowest level the vibration is low and faint. One the highest level it is vibrant and deep. The shock, similar to vibration, on the lowest level is like a small pinch. On the highest level, I didn’t bother to try that :)To start, I tried it on the lowest setting using the vibration mode. I ended up going up to level 5 and at this setting she immediately stopped the jumping, barking and running outside when I told her NO then followed up by engaging the vibration. It was amazing how quickly she stopped and listened. We have not used the shock since we have had so much success with the vibration.The unit itself is well constructed and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective training aid.

I would not have bought this if I had realized that it's not a rechargeable battery. It's been a pain in the butt to have to worry about replacing the batteries in the collar.. also the contact pieces that screw in to the device where the vibration comes from, after the dogs been running with the color for a period of time they loosen up and they falling out on me and I've lost most of them now. I need to find replacements and I haven't been able to find them anywhere. I've searched the internet and upside down and backwards and I'm not finding it so even though the system still works I'm out 50 bucks. But then I have gotten a couple years use out of it so I guess this is a loss. Since it's not available anymore to purchase I guess I don't need to say it don't buy it because it's not worth dealing with the batteries and then you can't find part. I guess I'm going to have to buy one that's got accessories available to purchase

We recently adopted an 18 month old pitbull. She learned basic commands quickly but would not come when called. We decided to try a training collar and bought this one as it was reasonably priced.I started her off using the tone mode and she ignored me. I then switched to the static shock feature used it on her a few times on setting 2 and said “come” she still ignored me. I then increased it to setting 4 still no response from her. I decided to try setting 6 and in just one week she now comes as quick as she can. I now have the perfect addition to my family. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with a disobedient dog!

sound part don't do anything to the dog.

Don't waste your money, ordered two of these for our 1 year old dogs in Sept 2016, as of last night, both have stopped working. I will admit, I haven't contacted the seller, but I know they won't replace one of them because the dogs chewed on it, which is most likely why it won't work, however, if it was made better, it would have held up. The second one just quit.

Love this collar. Works great. My dog really responds to the sound. I don't use the shock unless he's really not listening, but the sound usually works.

Great training tool. The three options for correcting is fantastic. Our Coton reacts simply to the tone correction and haven't ever had to resort to the vibrate or pulse but having as another option was the reason I chose this device. I spent a considerable amount of time comparing reviews and researching different collars prior to my purchase and all reviews and comparisons rated this collar as the best. I would concur.
