I bought these sanding sticks to sand plastic models. They do that very well and they don't wear too fast. I have encountered 2 issues though. Firstly, they are quite large, 13 by 2 cm. I have tried cutting into smaller pieces, but they tend to lose a bit of integrity and don't work too well. The second is that you get way too many for the job. In the range of grit supplied, I probably only use half of them at best. However, I would have to say I am happy with these as they do a decent job and other modellers may well make use of all of the sticks.

A good selection of varying degrees of abrasive qualities, good for smoothing the nibs from plastic parts cut from a spru/tree.

As the title says yes they are good BUT to a point their function is to gove a smoother surface and be easy to use but they do wear out pretty quickly as I've learned to my cost yes go from "rough" to "smoother" as your sanding takes you but the smoother ones wear very quickly though hence only 4☆but other than that these are still quite good value..

My husband wanted these for doing odd jobs he thinks they are so handy and work well
