Safari Ltd. Blue Crab Figurine - Realistic 7" Model Figure - Educational Toy for Boys, Girls, and Kids Ages 18M+

I received this item and I was really surprised that the paint job was extremely authentic. Growing up on the Gulf Coast of Texas, I have caught a lot of these crabs. The one that I received is actually a juvenile crab as the shell on an adult, from point to point is around 8-9 inches. This one is around 4-5 so he's got a little growing to do. Overall, very cool !!!!!!

My daughter used this for a school project. Great quality, no chips in the paint. Very pleased

Nice for the price

We used it in a show and tell for 5 year old pre schoolers and talked about creatures in the water and on the beach. The carb looked like a real one but didn’t pinch.

I lived in Miami and drove down to the Fla Keys all the time. When i moved to Tennessee there was a part of me that still missed the Keys. So i made our back deck a Key West bar. I like old, beat up , weathered decor that is or looks real. I do not want cutesy decor. I want items that look as if they came right out of the water or off a fishing boat. I bought a blue crab to add to the decor on our deck. For being made out of a hard rubber this crab is very realistic. The colors of the paint job are dead on. I only bought one because i wanted to get it and see how realistic it is before i bought any more. I am definitely ordering some more for the back deck.

I buy a variety of these Safari Creatures to make Geocaches out of them. Geocaches are typically placed outdoors in the elements so for my needs, they need to be sturdy and stand up to a lot of abuse.I find these to be made out of quality materials, durable and very realistic. Your needs may be different than mine in which case a cheaper alternative may suffice. But if you are looking for a sturdy, realistic looking model, I'd highly recommend any of the Safari products.

Ordered this crab for an under-the-sea end of the school year party along with a few other items. It was a fun addition to the party and looked lifelike with its hard rubber it will last for many parties at the school. Also an educational tool as it is just that life like. Glad I purchased it and donated it to the school's prop department.

We wanted this item for a Tradeshow display as they are similar to the Blue Manna crabs which are abundant in our region. The crabs are very high quality and very well designed/coloured to appear life like. I also make mention of the fact that ordering through Amazon I was able to purchase and have these shipped to Australia for half the price of the same item from a different US supplier. Very happy :)
