This book has a lot of creative ideas. It lists the resources, but generally leaves the reader to figure out the finer details of assembly. If you are the type of person that needs a detailed procedure, this is not the book for you. However, if you are looking for an idea resource that gives you a lot of room for creativity, this is a dandy little book to have on your shelf.

I thought this book would be a lot of fun for children, but it is pretty cheap and hokie in reality. I wouldn't recommend buying this. There are much better books out there with similar content.

If you want to work with kids and alternative music making, this is the book to use. Great ideas! And they work!

This is a really good resource for making instruments with kids. Lots of different instruments that are easy to make with common items. I'm working with a camp and hope to have a music area where the kids can bang on pots and pans and make their own instruments.

This is the second copy I bought. I gave the first away. Ordered a 3rd copy too, just to give it away.
