Great quality, everything fit perfectly, rubber grommet was a little tight fitting. Cranked up on first pull . Nice it came with spark plug too

The Echo SRM 2100 is about 25-30 years old and was leaking gas around the grommet and primer bulb, would stall out when running and was terribly hard to start requiring 10 to 15 pulls on the starter cord. Was worried about the kit fitting since it was not an Echo repair kit but the product reviews were helpful. It worked beautifully and now starts on the first pull. Gas was removed before starting the repair and I did not remove the gas tank. Replacing the clear "primer bulb" to the motor simply required removing two (2) screws, laying the new bulb in place, and putting the screws back - very easy. Removing the old grommet holding the 3 gas lines was easy, it just came out with a slight tug (because it was soooo old). I replaced the spark plug but saved the old one as it looked fine; and saved the air filter as my old one looked good too. The challenge was installing the new grommet holding the three (3) gas lines as it was new, more firm and required a flat-head screwdriver to help push/ease it down into the gas-tank hole; being careful not to damage the grommet. I did put the new hoses in place before trying to install the grommet but could have left them loose until the grommet was in its place. This took 4 or 5 attempts and lubricating it with oil helped a little. There are U-tube instructions that are very informative and my install seemed more difficult with the grommet than the U-tube's showed - but it worked. Cranked right up on second pull and ran beautifully. Now cranks on 1st pull. Yes, I would buy this again. If there are any problems or updates late I will post them here. WDP, 28Mar2024.

Great price, good fit

I installed this kit on a echo weed wacker, a GT2000, and everything fit the way it was supposed to. You get an air filter, spark plug, two primer bulbs, the rubber grommet and the hoses that connect to the carburetor and go into the fuel tank, an extra fuel filter. Installing the grommet was a little difficult, I ended up taking the gas tank off but because it's only 2 in it made it easy. You just have to work it around with the screwdriver, you do want to make sure you get it all the way in. I did notice that the yellow hose needed to be pulled up out of the grommet a little bit to connect to the primer bulb. Once you put the grommet in you really can't pull the hoses, so you might want to do that before you put the grommet in. But everything fit perfectly, the weed wacker runs perfect. Nice kit.
