I searched far and near for an affordable dog carrier that would work for a 14 pound dog, fit on my bike and seemed sturdy. This unit does the trick for the most part. Easy to assemble, easy to put on and off the bike, but I do check the straps often, during a ride, as they tend to slip a bit. The collar attachment is cheap and flimsy, so I keep the dog's leash on, and accessible, in case I have to grab it if he attempts to want out. So far, he only tried to get out, unsuccessfully, one time at the beginning. Now he sits proudly and loves the ride. Another slight problem is the pouch on the front of the basket - the velcro is way too high on the unit. I had to add some binder clips to make sure it keeps closed if I have only keys and a phone in the pouch. If you are carrying a lot of items, it will be fine, but not if you carry a few. For an inexpensive (compared to super sturdy, well made carriers) carrier, that works well for a 14 pound dog, this works. He cannot face completely forward, but does not seem to mind. He can sit, and feel the wind in his face and enjoy the view. Watch out for bumps, though. The carrier will shift and perhaps pop off of the front bar - just be careful.

I waited so eagerly for this product to arrive so that I can take my doggy on bike rides with me. Once the product arrived I put it together immediately and packed up my bike. Even with the once in a while bumps we hit because of the uneven pavement, my dog is still able to lay in the basket comfortably. I am very glad I bought this product. The other cool feature is that the basket can be converted into a dog carrier.

I enjoy using this product very much. I only have two small issues with it. One of which being maybe it's just my dogs (a dauschund and a miniature American Eskimo) but there really isn't much room for either of them. The second being the carrier blocks my bike break on the handle bars, again could just be an issue with my bike. Aside from that I love the carrier! It's sturdy, has plenty of storage space, and it's cute!

We and our fur baby absolutely LOVE this! Its pretty easy to assemble, sturdy once attached to the bike, and she feels secure enough in it to enjoy herself. Plus it's got a storage pocket,and water bottle holder. 10 out of 10 for us.I would suggest putting a towel down inside the pouch, because the bottom cushion is vinyl and she was sliding around our 1st trip. Now she can catch traction and it helps her to balance, so she can enjoy it even more.

Loved the size and dimensions but unfortunately did not hold up. Strap broke. Had very difficult time keeping basket from dropping and hitting the tire. Would not buy again. Too much trouble.

My dog loves her riding basket. Plenty of room. Decent safety feature. Only complaint is it wanted to tip to one side if dog moved, which got in the way of my shifter. Could stand to be a bit more narrow for attaching to handlebars. Like maybe adding a bracket to the back for attaching would be better. Lots of storage room.

I love this! Not only do i love the carrier my doggie OMG loves it, i use to have a over the shoulder, and it was so heavy I could not ride well. Now me and my Bellaraye will be riding together. Excellent choice, been looking for a long time! SIMPLY PUT....If you want your puppy to have some fun get one!

Not sure about it breaking or sturdiness because I had to return. Definitely not big enough for my 15 lb. dog. Also, need to make sure your bike handles are straight across, or it will just hang loosley, so I guess that is why people are saying it is not sturdy.

Started to tear and come apart after 3 uses. 10lb dog.
