Needed locks
Very happy with my purchase. The company we purchased the box from was wanting 15 for one and I purchased for less with this product

Simple and working coin locks. Replaced almost all the locks on my Neo Geo arcade cabinet.
Simple and working coin locks. Replaced almost all the locks on my Neo Geo arcade cabinet. Only the rear lock on the back I couldn't replace cause the size was wrong, but that's just me needing to order a single lock thats a different size.

A Secure RV Hatch Lock Replacement
I replaced the standard lock and thumb latch on my RV storage hatch for more security. I drilled and put the thumb latch in the center. Much more secure and convenient. I filed the tab off so I can remove the key when unlocked. These are solid-quality locks.

Awesome!
I own a vintage arcade game, but I lost the key. I was able to get it open by opening the back, but I couldn't close the coin slot door.I almost called a locksmith. This was a much better solution. Took a few minutes to change out and I'm in business!About the reviews stating the key stays in the lock, I think this is a good thing! Yes, when you have it in the open position, the key won't come out. I had to rotate the bar 90 degrees from when I originally installed it in order to pull the key out when locked. But I figured it out pretty quickly.

Stay away from this lock set
I have never written a bad review on AMAZON. I am an honest man and will not lie about these lock kits. If I could give zero stars I would. Every shaft with a nylock nut was stripped with the most minimal of force. That isn't even the worst of it. There is so much play between the lock rod and the key was absolutely ridiculous. I doubt the could even keep the doors on the tool box locked. I tested the to doors hatch. I had the lock installed, everything in perfect position....no. I merely had to gently lift on the to toolbox door and it opened right up. There was so much play between the lever and the keyway washers it made all the locks useless. I would love to be able to return these locks for a full refund.Sincerely,Ronald Batley

Pls read before purchase.
I like these cam locks and I think it’s a great deal for the money however they come with a threaded hex nut and a bolt that extends too far past the latch. In the detailed schematic of the lock included in this listing it shows a shorter bolt with zero gap between the nut and the latch. When the nut is attached to rear bolt that holds the latch there is entirely too much space left that’s not tightened and the latch swings around. There’s no type of washers included to secure the latch either.I went to my local Home Depot and picked up some Everbilt M7-1.0 Metric Hex Nuts after some trial and error and they seem to hold the latch to the lock securely now, with a bit of left over exposed bolt. You can probably pick up the bolts now that I’ve shared the correct size ;)If you don’t want to be bothered buying non threaded nuts there is another listing on amazon for these cam locks that doesn’t include a threaded hex, just pay attention to the item photos. I think those were not the right size for my use.Lastly, when I tried to use this 5/8 lock to replace another 5/8th lock on a metal cabinet it appears to be a hair bigger than 5/8 and won’t fit into the hole. I’ll need to do some filing to the hole cut out on my cabinet to make it fit.

Works like a "champ"
Rating the features "sheerness" I didn't rate because I have no idea what that means. That said I needed to replace the locking mechanism on my 42" Kobalt toolbox. These work great, I measured what I needed... the ad / description was detailed (with measurements) enough I determined these should work, and they do.Big plus is the accuracy of the description and measurements..1 feature I did not expect, is the key can only be removed in 1 position, locked. I did not expect this but is of little consequence to me.
