This is an update: I had previously rated it lower as there was a problem with the on/off button, BUT Bright Medic sent us the replacement part we needed FAST & it's fine now. The light itself is SUPER BRIGHT and appears to be very durable. It is also small enough to fit into a pocket or ladies handbag (backpack, etc.) A good friend of our is an EMT & he carries the exact same light. It uses regular batteries (a real plus) and is very reasonably priced, particularly for the power of this small light! (I bought 2 as gifts & the guys love them.) You will not be disappointed!

Paramedic approved
My partner started an IV in a dark bedroom full of emergency responders. Several flashlights clicked on and this was the brightest, plus there are no dark spots in the beam. I like being able to reduce power too; when checking pupils, I start at the side of the face on half power and get a reaction without having to shine directly in the eyes. My only complaint is the light sometimes clicks on accidentally when it's my turn to drive, but that's a common problem with belt holstered flashlights. Thanks to the other paramedic reviewer who recommended this. It's a solid, reliable necessity on night shift. And as someone who was considering a $100 light as a worthwhile expense, I'm happy with this.

Might be a bad or used unit
Strong and bright, but the button on the unit I received would "push in" beyond the housing and cause the flashlight to stay lit. I have returned it and asked for a replacement. My suspicion is the unit I received was used, as the plastic bag it arrived in was wrapped in tape as if it had been opened previously. I tried fixing it by putting the parts back in place, but I believe a spring is missing which would hold the button mech in place. Will follow up if replacement unit works properly.

Lacking but potential is there
I could easily give this a 1 (want to give it a 5) . The light is bright and battery use is good. BIG issue is that the switch (on/off) broke only after very limited and short use. I looked for contact information before posting this to give them a chance to help me out but did not find any contact info. If they would send me or tell me how to fix the switch id give this a 5. Please contact me i would like very much to give this a 5.

nice
i like the light, it is a good compact size. The brightness isn't the best when broadened but it is nice.

Awesome Customer Service and Super Bright Light
Read the reviews closely on this flashlight. I, like many other people LOVE the flashlight - IF I could turn it on. The switch is a total piece of junk. I fixed it once and it worked for about a week and then broke again. This time I couldn't repair it. SO - I have a REALLY BRIGHT flashlight I can't use. What a waste. I would give it a 5 star rating if they would send me the replacement switch. (Maybe a handful of them since they break a lot). First the switch pushes in to the light so you can't turn it on and off and then the cheap plastic clicker breaks. Save Your Money and buy something else!!!Okay here is an update to my switch problem. I contacted customer service via email and they responded in less than 5 minutes. (I can't remember when that has ever happened). TheY apologized for the switch issue and said that they would send a new one out ASAP! I couldn't believe it. No questions asked. They sent it THAT day. I had it in two days. Problem fixed. I think it maybe a new design. It fits MUCH better than the original one and it doesn't push down into the light. If it breaks again I'll re-post, but it looks much better than the original one. Bottom line... I now have a great flashlight (Super Bright) that works the way it is supposed to thanks to an awesome customer service team at Bright Medic. Kudos to Bright Medic!!!

Formidable Flashlight
This flashlight is great for a variety of uses. This light is a good everyday carry item that can be used for purposes such as utility or self-defense. When new, the zoom is a bit sticky, and the lens collects dust easily, however, these cons are outweighed by the pros. The strap is a bit of an obstruction when the light is carried in a pocket, but it is removable. The glow-in-the-dark tailcap switch works fairly well, being able to provide at least a faint glow most of the time. The light is slightly dimmer than expected, but it is still very powerful. Despite its tactical appearance, it may be brought through security checkpoints. (I've carried it on planes without issue)

The light it emits it great. The push button switch on the back
We bought several of these. The light it emits it great. The push button switch on the back, on the other hand, stinks. I've had two break within the first week of use. One I could fix the other is dead.
