Petercor Squeaky Canvas Dog Toy for All Breeds by Tuff_Mutt (Bull)

This could be a great toy… The canvas material is extremely durable, as well as the stitching and reinforced edges. Those show little to no sign of wear.However, for some reason, not all of it is made of canvas. The beak is made of more of a fragile fabric. My dog ended up getting a hole in that the first day, and once he did, it all went downhill from there.He ended up focusing solely on the beak, and was able to unravel most of the face from that weak point.If I could change, one thing, it would be to make the entire thing out of the canvas material, possibly to even make the beak flat, and without stuffing like the tail. With that this would definitely be a five-star toy, but for the price and its flaw I do not feel like it recommend this to someone with a rough chewer.

Our GSP puppy is destructive. This has held up for a month (minus the head). He is very aggressive with his toys, but loves it SO MUCH it was worth it.

Mine didn't have a squeaker. There is nothing on the edge of the toy (most toys have thick black nylon wrapped around the edges) and the stitching is a few mm from the edge of the toy. This means my soft mouthed bird dog was able to fray the toy from around the edges and not only make a mess of random strings everywhere, but essentially destroy the toy. I got the Tuffy bat at the same time and it has edging nylon and thicket, quilted material and it's been perfect and both my Vizslas love it. I had just adopted a new dog and wasn't sure how rough he would be on his toys, but he's been gentle and his Tuffy bat and regular material dragon are fine, but his sharky was retired in less than 2 days.

I bought one of these at a specially dog store for my golden doodle puppy and it instantly became her favorite toy. Great for throwing, teething, and tug of war.The canvas was very sturdy but unfortunately wasn't a match for a friend's pitbull. So I sewed it up as best I could and bought her a replacement for Christmas.It seems to be the same material, but some of the trim on the tail is separating a bit so maybe the thread isn't as strong, and the beak has small holes in it too. Fortunately, if she's in a mood to shred, so goes back to the first duck so it should still last quite a while.

This toy is cute but is not very durable, especially for dogs that like to chew. Wouldn’t recommend this toy. I really thought it would hold up better.

I purchased this adorable looking stuffed squeaky toy mallard a couple weeks ago but just gave it to my dog since he already has so many toys. I gave the rating 3 stars because it's cute but the design has problems for aggressive chewers. My dog chewed through the covering in a couple hours which is a burlap type material which shreds easily so I had to keep trimming off all the threads plus the under material is a thin nylon/polyester material that he ripped through quite quickly pulling out all the stuffing and squeaker. He is enjoying the shell, however, because of the type of material, I still have to cut all lose threads. Its super cute if you have a dog that will just carry it around but that's not my dog.

This is my dogs favorite toy. It might last anywhere from 2-6 months. I know this because we have probably purchased around 6-7 of these. I know it’s ridiculous to keep buying them but he LOVES it for whatever reason. It’s definitely the most durable of any other “soft” toy we have had. He is a 4 year old Brittany and weighs 29 pounds.

Our little dog has extra sharp teeth because she has torn up any toy we've ever bought her....except for this one. She chews on it alot but can't destroy it. It even is great for playing fetch because it is the right weight for throwing and she likes to grab the rope part to drag it around. Greatest dog toy ever for our destructo-dog.

Not too bad for a toy for a dog that looks for weak spots in toys. Make sure you duct tape the smile as this is soft material and the weakest point. The rest is just a matter of time and has lasted a few days so far.
