I really want to like this item. It is comfortable and easy to pump up to the desired firmness. But If I'm not able to get rid of the very offensive smell I will return it. We have removed the cover and washed it as the directions stated but the plastic pillow part still smells horrible. I've hung it out in the garage in hopes that it will air out.Update: The seller has offered excellent customer service. After reading my initial review he reached out to me and suggested I first try soap and water for the plastic part. The smell remained. Thus, after that he sent me a replacement for the inner part. It does still have a faint odor but definitely tolerable now. I'm adding stars because I'm now a satisfied customer.

I bought this neck pillow to use when I take flights around the country. I’ve never quite been happy with travel pillows; there always seems to be something lacking in the features one way or another and they can't all be in one pillow. So far though, I really like this pillow. It has a nice and soft velvety material as its cover, and the case is made out of it too. The cover comes off, which is nice because I can throw it in the washer it if it gets dirty from being on my neck.I like how compact it is, and the fact that it has a carabiner to attach it to my luggage when I’m not using it. This takes up very little space because of it. I also like how I can adjust the amount of air that’s in it so it’ll fit the way I want it to. I was a little bit wary about it being an inflatable pillow because it seems like it would be prone to popping or getting holes in it like a camping mattress. But surprisingly, it seems pretty durable in design and I’ve had no issues with it staying inflated yet other than that if I leave it inflated for a while and the temperature changes, like at night, the pressure of the pillow will change some. But a few more pumps and it’s fine.The pump mechanism is pretty cool, and is one of the best points of this pillow compared to others. All I have to do is pump it up with the grip of the “bulb” in one of its sides, and it inflates within about 30 seconds if I do it quickly; otherwise about 45 seconds more comfortably. The protrusions on the back of the pillow are nice because they hold my head in place when I fall asleep while sitting up (I tried this on purpose). Overall this is a good quality product and definitely worth the little money it costs for the amount of use I’ll get out of it.

At first I loved the softness of the pillow. I thought it would send me off to sweet dreams on our nine hour flight. But about fifteen minutes into the flight, my neck got awfully hot. I also had to rearrange it so my neck cradled the pillow.I really liked the ease of blowing it up and deflating it. Easy for storage.Once I found the right position of the pillow, it was very comfortable, but the material is just way too hot for me.Going on another long flight next month and I won’t be taking it with me.

I got this pillow after being over using memory foam pillows. They don’t allow for any customization and just collapse with the weight of my head. This PelloPillow allows me to adjust the amount of air in it while I wear it so that I can get the perfect amount of pressure for what I want at the time; and if I want it different later, depending on how I’m laying or sitting, I change it. Super fast and easy.I love how I don’t have to blow up the pillow with my mouth too. It has a pump on the inside that’s kind of like a stress ball; I just squeeze it, no hassle. Also, the way the back of the pillow is shaped holds my head in place just right because of the “ridges”. My head just sits in between them.Another perk of the fact that it’s inflatable means that it can pack down to a really small size so that it doesn’t take up a bunch of space when I go on trips, and it clips onto my backpack with the carabiner that was included. I can also just leave it in my car for friends and family to use on road trips. I might buy a few more for my family!

It saved space and its cute but it not very comfortable. Maybe okay for short flights but not for a long haul one.

I'm in love with this travel pillow. It is a lifesaver for someone who has a hard time sleeping or resting on an airplane. I love the fact that it is inflatable. I have enough stuff to carry around at the airport when I'm trying to get to the plane, I don't want to carry a big neck pillow as well! But with this, it can stay folded up nice and small in my purse or carry-on until I am ready to use it on the plane. So easy and quick to do. It is super soft and can be inflated just to your preference and liking. It is a very beautiful color and extremely high quality made.It can also be used on road trips too! And kids love it!I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

"I love my PELLOPILLOW. By far the best traveling pillow I have used. I broke my neck in January 2016 due to a fall down my home stairs and had to have a plate and 2 screws placed at C5/6 to stabilize my vertebrae. I have tried the usual 'pillow' when traveling but it was too stiff & painful. My last trip home to CA (on United) took 6 hours and a lot of turbulence. I was in so much pain after that flight but now with the "PELLOPILLOW" I am allowed to inflate the pillow to MY CONFORT when traveling whether it be by land, sea or air. I am so thankful for this product as it has made a world of difference for me when traveling"

I’m hoping Amazon or the manufacturer can help with this problem.I would like to return this pillow, I wrote the company asking to return it. Now I see the deadline for a return was a few weeks ago, this is very upsetting, because I tried the pillow on my first flight after my purchase, unfortunately that was after the return date. The pillow is a disaster for flying, because: it’s extremely bulky, weighs too much and takes up so much space in a suitcase. I bought this pillow so I wouldn’t be the person walking around the airport with a pillow hanging off my suitcase, and that was exactly what I ended up doing, because it was next to impossible to easily: deflate it, shove it in it’s bulky hard bag and than try to shove that in my suitcase. tinaI am extremely upset and I would like my money back.Please HELP!tina
