This stuff burned my face so bad. It gave me bumps from dry skin for at least a week afterwards.

This is one of my favorite products. I have very oily skin with a coarse texture, and the high strength of the AHA/BHA exfoliants in this cream REALLY help smooth out my skin tone.Some things to know before buying:- it is VERY acidic. If you have open wounds on your face, it will hurt. A LOT.- if your skin is very dry or delicate, this is probably not for you.- you need to use it up fairly quickly, as the emulsification of the natural ingredients will break down over time and it will separate.- you cannot use this product alone. It should be part of a routine that follows it with good moisturization.- the purging can be intense. At any given time we have a number of imperfections below the skin, clogged comedones that have not yet become inflamed enough to be noticeable. Products like this increase your skin's growth cycle, so all of those baby blemishes will grow to the surface all at once within the first two weeks. If more than a month passes of use and you're still breaking out, one of your facial products is causing it, you may need to investige and/or eliminate things, including this one.- the smell is not great. It has wonderful properties of honey and it's other ingredients, but no added perfumes. This is great if you're like me and sensitive to perfumes! But unfortunately, it means that all you can smell in this product is the lactic acid. Which means it pretty much smells like a less concentrated calcium, lime, and rust remover. It can be off putting if you're expecting honey and flowers.That said, my only TRUE complaint is that I wish it were a little more affordable, but I still think it's worth it and plan to keep buying it indefinitely!
